?sorry,anyone seen the moovie THE WRESELLER
ye I've watched this movie but I didn't want to talk about it, because at the end of the movie the wrestler breaks Iran's flag ! at first I became too angry about it and almost I wanted break the DVD but I thought that in our country people burn US' flag so it's not as shameful as I thought.
Anyway, since I'm a wrestling fan and I used to practice it for years, and I know almost every thing about this fake fight, so it was very interesting to me to see a movie about background of this entertaining sport. I mean the fight is a kind of show and competitors follow a written story. In fact they're playing instead of fighting.
Last week I was watching Wrestlemania 2009 and there was Mickey Rourke (the main actor of this movie) among spectators! And even he had a short fight with a superstar (Chris Jerico)!!

A noble Lady (Sarah Ashley) travels from Great Britain to Australia to meet her husband. Her husband's driver took Sara to northern Australia but she found him murdered. i was kinda moved by the movie,i didn`t think with all the things they do to eachother in the ring they are friends outside in the backstage!
and about the iran`s flag,there is a wresseler in the TNA leage, who is iranian and dresses like arabs,and is a heel,jus like th charecter in the movie
michy really played well,and he was also nominated for the oscar award,a runner up for than,and u could really feel the pain in his face
i really liked the movie,eventhough it was abit harsh

i love this movie...specifically the last scene...the music is great too, i suggest you to download the music track. i watched this movie again in HD and it was fantastic super duper.

Ok, about my favorite movie, I like " a beautiful mind " , a film about the math's Genius named John forbes Nash, He famoused cuze of his research on theory of Game and other essential researchs about fundamental concepts of math, if you saw this movie some matters can be reveal for you, I'm trying to talk about these here whether great or smal things, quantity isn't the key matter .
by watching this movie you can see really who is a Genius and what's they behavious, how they think and how can they resolve a problem before it show itself !, in the other hand of this treasure this can be helpful for you if you are one of peoples which lost their way, it can be very useful for people who want to choose a nice way for traversing, for now nothing much I can remind for say, is there anybody like me love this movie as an indelibe movie !?

well, I actually enjoyed the very 1st season the most
n after that season 3
n I think it is gettin sorta nonesence recently since I can't believe any moment of the movie esp in Season 5!!! absolutely fiction

anyway, today after a very long time I finally watched a movie:27:, Stigmata - 1999
1st let me tell u wot Stigmata means:
marks that look like the wounds made by nails on the body of Jesus Christ, believed by some Christians to have appeared as holy marks on the bodies of some saints
the story of the movie was exactly like that, a lady in the movie who did not even believe in God has such marks on her body n there was a priest who was sent to her to follow the whole things up n ...
Actually, I'm not that into these kinda movies, n the rate of IMDB seems fair...6 out of 10 which is my rate as well

it was great, meaningful and unpredictable movie witch i found funny also, it is suitable for every body not just teen and childeren and strongly can say better than most of the movies which are for olders

the one whose life has been in everyone's word...I do recommend u to have a breif look at her biography:

about this movie...i nearly have watched it 5 times and every time i have enjoyed than last time.this movie has lots of things for watching again every time you find new things... and if another actor played this movie it wouldn't be good such as this actor.
liam neeson really was the best choice for this character.he absolutely shows us the power of a business man and of course who wants to establish civilization and stop murdering jews and he has kind of kindness in his face.he also is handsome and has enough seriousness of real man and all this things made this character fascinating...share your ideas about this movie

Great movie, I really enjoyed watching this fantastic movie. I like to talk about scenes, one of the most dramatic scenes was holocaust part when ashes were dropping from air , you remember the beginning of the Nazis attack , there were a beautiful little girl who was highlighted in red color, at first I got curious what the director is going to say , and in burning scene I saw the corpse of that girl which was carried to be burn. It really hurts.
The other one , was hunting slaves by Germans' commander , he shot people just for fun without mercy. And the scene when Nazis collect female slaves , shaved their hair and made them stripped and put them in a isolated room. At there I really thought that they're going to kill them by gas! As one of ladies was describing in the train.
One thing more , do you know the main actor was died recently during a car accident?

I think he means Liam Neeson, since Amon Goth died in 1946
but the news is not right, it was his wife who died in sking accident;
here is wot was written in IMDB:
In mid-March 2009, his wife Natasha Richardson had a skiing accident that made her suffer a brain injury from which she shortly afterward died in hospital. Liam interrupted filming of his movie Chloe (2009) in order to be by her side in the hospital

Since I'm a fan of horror movies, I was eager to watch the new part of Jason's movies. It wasn't as interesting as prior ones. And there wasn't something new in this one. Some teenagers went to camp and Jason attacked them and started slaughtering people. I was watching this with my friend and since he kills kids when they're making love or something, we agreed that if Jason'd come to our country , government will admire him and give him award for removing guilty people! I rate Friday the 13 6 out of 10.

i just saw the firs part of this movie and it was good but i dont know why im not interested in horror movies.maybe after exorcist 2 i became antihorror.because in my opinion it wasnt scary just fiction.maybe it wasn't a good horrible movie.but i prefer watchin realistic movies and action movies.however who knows maybe i'll be interested in this kind of movies...
I know that most of horror movies don't cost to watch but there is some good ones , and about Jason I can say that it's not too bad

ok.the next movie i watched tow months ago.it was also great....crash...it really described relationship between blacks and whites and at the end of movie i was absolutely effected.one of the best scenes was where the blonde policeman was driving on the dark road and stopped for black man then he got in and after a few minutes they got angry and were discussing together and when the black man wanted to bring out something like small statue to show the policeman who thought he was bringing out a gun but after that he shot him he understood it was just a statue in black man's hand.he was amazed and just looked at him...i think most of you watched it but it would be fabulous for watching again

what do u think about troy?i love it.historical movies with war become fantastic.for example gladiator and lots of other movies in this genre.acting of pit in this movie was one the best acting of him.and when he was shot at the end of movie i was really sad.because the girl was beggin to boy not to kill him but he shot him and the scene was really dramatic.i rate it 8.5 of 10

This time I wanna talk about my favorite TV serial which is recently being shown in IRIB. "All saints" as known as "Nurses" in Iran, is really fascinating serial that I really love and I try not to miss even one single part of it. The most interesting item about this serial is it's story whit fast rhythm. During every part you meet new characters and people in the hospital try their best to help badly injured persons. I've learned a lot about medicine by watching "All saints". You can just compare it with Iranian soup operas like "Joseph" in which you just see Jacob is crying or very simple conversation between characters "although in our country people love it and God knows why!" or Korean one "Jumung" which consists of conversation of characters sitting around a table or some fighting scenes.

You're right. Thanks for the information. There were pictures of the list, showing the huge changes in number of votes. Anyway, In my opinion the dark knight couldn't even be compared to Shawshank Redemption Or Godfather. When I saw The Dark Knight to be No.1 in IMDb months ago, I really expected a movie as great as Shawshank Redemption. One of my friends gave me a DVD, Batman: The Dark Knight. I first thought this is the movie everyone talks about on the Internet. While watching it, I found it an Action movie so I forwarded it and didn't watch it completely. You know why I did that? Because I thought It's" Batman: The Dark Night " but the movie they talk about is " The Dark Knight". What I'm trying to tell you is: If I had seen that movie without any announces, I would have believed it to be JUST a good Action movie, not a great one. It's what I still believe. Few years ago I watched "Night at the museum" by IRIB, that time I didn't know Ben Stiller. So this time, when I found the second part , there was no need to hesitation to buy it. The movie was somehow good , nice visual effects, reasonable story, some funny moments, but the item that I didn't like, was Stiller's acting. While I consider Ben Stiller as one of the best comedians, I really expect better plays. I think at some senses he acted so unnatural, especially during some surprising or emotional moments. Let's talk about the movie itself. It's about the same museum guard whom we know at the first part, but this time he's given up his job and engaged in another business .he is more successful but not satisfied whit his new job. When he finds out the museum manager wanna remove the statues, he decides to follow them and get them back to their house. At Washington he discovers that a pharaoh wants to back to real life and establish his own kingdom in entire world… although I'm a fan of Ben Stiller , I couldn't rate this movie more than 7.

What i like the most about his movies is that in the end U'll learn something about life , socializing or some behavior hints

At the latest weekend, I watched "Terminator Salvation" the 4th version of Terminator movies. Personally, I think the second one is the best, although I really enjoyed – and even scared – of the first one. The final part is great too, it contains lots of visual effects, sth like transformer, I think Action movie lovers, have to watch it. This time you meet another machine who is originally a human begin, because he has a human heart beating through his chest. He was a prisoner who was executed, now is recreated as a robot and John Conor believes that he is programmed to kill him. And the most interesting scene in this movie, is the time when Arnold Schwartz Zinger appears, although he is not himself – the computerized actor – but even that fake appearing was very exciting. I rate the movie 7.5 out of 10.

I think this is kind of rare continuous movies which are better than pervious parts. Most of people love Ice
Age movies (both parts) and I think the third part is the best. You'll love it, I'm sure. Full of funny moment and the story, like Shrek3 is about babies. As you can guess from the pictures and announces, dinosaurs are added to this movie. Our friend, Sid, finds some eggs and decides to grow them up by himself, and when the babies born, he discovers these are dinosaurs (unfortunately Tyrannosaurus). But he even doesn't leave them when the angry Tyrannosaurus finds her kids! About mammoth, Ellie is pregnant and her partner, Manny, tries his best to protect her and create a comfort environment for her and the new born mammoth. And about Diego, he faced some problems like loosing his power and speed as a hunter, and he should fix himself to be the hunter which everyone expect from a tiger like him.
I rate it 8.5 and I think it worth it.

The movie is somehow complicated and sometimes you may get confused between real and dream, but at the end of the film you see that the mother is responsible for the accident that ended in a tragedy. If I rate this movie, I'll give it 6.8 out of 10.

no, it's a kinda story which lets the audiance decide about the end...it somehow puts you in doubt and leaves out different thoughts on yr mind and it can sorta freak you out for its special story which u may find kinda fiction ... I for one recommend such a movie to everyone since it can raise some thoughts

Yesterday I watched UP and I loved it. It's great that the main character is a grumpy old man and not your usual teenage/kid. He reminded me of Spencer Tracy very much :27: Also the romance between Ellie and Carl had me swooning! :laughing: It was just soooo sweet.

Yesterday I watched UP and I loved it. It's great that the main character is a grumpy old man and not your usual teenage/kid. I watched "O'Castelo Animado", a Japanese animation, but it failed to amaze me. Since I had watched similar animations like "Spirited Away", and that caused the story and all seemed predictable and boring to me. l

Without doubt one of the most horrible movies I have ever seen. A Korean movie which films the story of a truly sick chauvinistic guy who ruins the life of a college girl...If you like sad and sick stories, you may like it, like one of my friends who recommended it to me
Just saw it and it was decent not great. It tells the story non-linearly, each character is shot independently from different angels. The story is about two guys who want to have fun by making a blood bath out of their college friends and they do it!! Not a strong story though
The nice thing about this movie is satanic Beethoven music when the killer kid plays it on piano, it is the awesome part of movie
P.s. satanic is synonymous to something great

The film is an adaptaion of a novel of the same name by Bret Easton Ellis.

well one thing to consider, he is a psychopath,he just can't control himself and though he tries to hide his deep hatred towards other people and society he doesn't manage to.and the most difficult to believe and mind grating fact is what he says at the end of the movie,there's no single punishment and catharsis for everything I've done.

That is a science-fiction movie and it's the most natural science fiction movie I've ever seen! that was really perfect. in most of the scenes it filmed like a documentary movie! the movie is about many aliens who lived in somewhere on earth called district 9! the main story is about a man who entered to district 9 to do some researches about aliens. he found many odd things about their lives. strange foods, strange weapons, and all of what he found was really interesting and strange! finally he found something and he hurt himself with that strange thing ! after that happening, his hand changed to an alien hand and after that, this problem grew in all of his body and then he missed his main life !
you should definitely see that movie! actually I didn't like science fiction movies but this movie changed my mind. I bet this movie will get some Oscars

I loooooooooove 30s 40s screwball comedies! Also I love movies that deal with day to day life of ordinary people. Don't know what to call it. drama maybe? but Capra is my favorite director and he's famous for romanticizing the middle class and basically that's what I love in a movie. Extraordinary or interesting things happening to ordinary people. I like to see characters that I can relate to in a movie, I don't like watching movies about artsy people who always drink coffee or have read possibly every book written by the human kind! nor do I like movies about people who live in the bum side. Just keep it in the middle and I'll be pretty happy!

For me, It depends on the story and the actors/actresses and some other details about the movie that make a film important for me. for example I hate science fiction movies but as you see in one of my last posts in this topic I rated the District 9 a high number and it means that District is one my favorite films. by the way my favorite movie genres are:
1st: Drama
2nd: comedy
3 rd: Action
4th: Romance
5th: fantasy
actually the best movies I've ever seen are Drama and the worst movies that I've ever seen are also Drama:19:

actually Capra is like a Genre for himself ... they call it capraesque ... I adore his movies (at least 4-5 that I've seen from him) but unfortunately I'm a bit more pessimistic myself and not a fan of his view of the world and how it works

I watched this movies last night, I really expect a better movie from my favorite actress Anne Hathaway. She had a really different charachter in the movie so far from the lovely,sweet girl in her other movies. Here she's a junkie and a drug addict.
The movie is about her sister getting married and 2 days before their marriage, how they prepare for the ceremony the rehearsal and these things.There's no ups and downs or any romantic scenes in it. a monotonous and boring movie in my opinion.

the first 3 seasons of 24 was awesome, but I didn't like the rest of it as much as I like the first 3
Heroes, is great for ones who like these exaggerated movies.Some part of it was really hard to believe and that's why I'm not so eager to follow it any more.
Lost is one of a kind ..it is great..but not my favorite type
D.H. shows life, with all of its ups and downs..some times seems like a true story. All the characters are composed and written based on all different types of women characters and behaviors, psychologically.
Grey's anatomy shows life of doctors in America..It does expand my vocabulary related to medicine, because I had to look up the meaning of many words during watching the movie :31:.

I love House also ... one of the best TV series in years ... it's about this crazy/genius/sociopath Doctor named House who is very good at solving medical puzzles (patients with confusing symptoms and stuff) ... he has a team and a friend and a boss ... it's a Medical Drama (emphasizing on Drama)

Scrubs is funny.. I love 20 min.-sitcoms like this (King o Queens is my fav)

30Rock should be very good .. and many other good series (past and present) ... like 6 feet under , sopranos , ... that I'm eager to watch ... shame I don't have enough time and all of them should wait in line!!!

it shows how a book could effect the life of three generations, n it also gives the audience a brief idea of a well-known author of 20th century ' Vriginia Woolf' ...
it was a very good one, I liked it, it had a sad story though
the make up of the actresses are also worth mentioning, esp the on on 'Nickol Kidman' as 'Virignia Woolf' , She has totally changed!!

I've saw The Hours and Life is Beautiful ... both very good movies ...
The Hours was very powerful movie ... in part because I've always appreciated Woolf character ...acting team was great...and the scene at the train station(with Woolf and her husband) was specially memorable and made my eyes wet!

Last night at the movie time (I have this time almost every day) I have saw a fine and gangster like movie called RocknRolla (Production 2008),
Usually I don't like british movies, specially that idiotic british gangster movie but not when 'Guy Ritchie' made that movie. Guy Ritchie is a famous english Director that born and work in UK but he is creating Exceptional british gangster or crime like movies he has very famous movies like Snatch; and besides directing he is doing writing and producing for most of his works.
But the movie is about a powerful gang in London, a real-estate scam gang; and they have some rude force. Lenny Cole, lord of the gang, he is trying to help a rich Russian on constructing fees but problems occurred when they are trying to achieve a peaceful transaction. and ...
Overall rating for the movie i think 6.5 is a good number but received 7.3 from IMDB users

I was like you, I always thought what they laugh about..it's ridiculous. But you should see this from the very beginning and get to know the characters, so you'll understand why they laugh. But of course it's not as laughable as the audience laugh :31:l

yup- it was a good movie .. very fast paced though utterly cliche ... I liked the part that Neeson tells his daughter:
They are going to take you...You will have five,
maybe ten seconds.
that was a very good scene. it was similar to a scene in earlier seasons of 24 series .. with Jack Bauer telling his daughter to shoot someone and then again, just to be sure!!!

I couldn't find the original version of this movie and unfortunately I had to watch the dubbed version that had very bad translation for conversations
it was a sad but very beautiful movie .. and full of beautiful scenes .. if you dun belong to those groups of people who believe all of the scenes should be untouched you can see 2 of its beautiful scenes here:

I watched the movie last night and I was really touched by that. The movie was so sad, but true.

It's about a family whose daughter got cancer (leukemia) at the age of 5, which is so sad, and as none of parents were a match for donations to their little daughter, doctors suggested them to have another child who will be a 100% match with genetic procedure.
So after that little girl born, they put her into different and difficult surgeries. In 11 years she had about 15 surgeries..So she decided not to let her parents got her kidney and she got a lawyer to sue her parents.
The movie had lots of flashbacks from the family's good memories with each other.
I think it worth watching once..my rate is 8/10..And IMDB rate is 7.4/10

Ofcourse the scenes were good, but "scenes" is not the only thing makes the movie attractive. In my idea, About Elly pictures a group of lies (body of lies!) connected to each other and making a great trouble, the story is as simple as you see, in another word, you are joined with the story. You know why? because our life is such simple, if every second of the movie had its own events, it would never have such a natural atmosphere that you think you're in the game, it would never be like our real life. Suppose that you're travelling to North of Iran, you see that all scenes may happen to you! This is what makes the movie attractive, a great storyline putting you in a doubt and stress situation. Where did Elly go? This is the problem
To sum up, sometimes you should watch a movie 2-3 times so that you get the best from it. It is among them

i like saw I and II and V cause you know ,i like horror movies but not all of them the last interesting movie that i have seen is ANGLES AND DEMONS yeah i know its old but it's good enough to watch it again and also i have watched the SEVEN too it's a great movie too especially when they find the body that was nearly undead but looked like dead and suddenly got up from the bed and i just saw the American Pies in the list i recommend you to not watch it at all i just saw a few scenes of it and i prefer to watch it when i'm 18 or i won't watch it at all and the 2 movies that i liked the most are the pianist and the departed pianist is a story about a pianist that was living during the world war 2 and he could survive it and the departed is a mafia story that was very nice and leonardo dicaprio was acting as the main character.i really recommend you to watch it

Wow! I just saw the movie "About Elly..." and I'm just getting crazy
It's about three couples and a widower travelling to North of Iran, but they are not alone, one of the wives, brings the kindergarten teacher of her child to the trip in order to introduce her with Ahmad, the widower. While having a great time ang a lot of fun, one of the children get drowned in the sea, but rescued. After a while they realize that Elly, the nurse, is missed. No one knows about her
Film is all about lies, to an extent that those critics watched it believe that it should be renamed as "About a lie!" , The great atmosphere of doubt and lie makes the movie such wonderful that IMDB rates it 8.1 and counts it as one of the 250 best movies of the website. It is Iran's submission for Academy Award and I hope that it will be among the final 5
Watch it carefully, you won't get disappointed

a matter of taste. but I like Deniro better :40: I think he has more range. I can never imagine Pacino in a comedy (has he done one?! I haven't seen all of his movies). I like Pacino too, just not as much as Deniro

that is truely a worth watching movie, though it was the same story of love, it waaas sooooo sweet n bitter sometimes, I do recommend it............. esp dear ladies in here

I finished friends last night..I really expected to cry because everyone told me that they cried, But surprisingly I didn't :14:. I was expecting to watch sth that make me cry..there was nothing actually :31: , so a different ending for me.
Watching friends was one of the best things that ever happened to me..I didn't like to watch it but my friends forced me to do it (Thanks god they did :27:), And I also found all the extra episodes in the last dvd. That's nice

It was a great movie, the story of an Italian painter. His life was dedicated to love, art and alcohol...you must watch it. The movie gave me a new perspective of life, it's worth watching

It is about a man who has an important meeting, but has to take his children and their friends to school. While he is so late for his meeting, the children get hungry and he has to stop for purchasing some donuts. Unluckily, there are some rubbers who will hold them as hostages. You may think that it will be an action movie from now on, but the comedy just begins from here! :31: the rubber is so funny that all the children love him, the end is very funny, I recommend you to watch it, it is worth

story : a professional and famous journalist was hired by a rich man to solve an un-solved case about disappear of her brother's daughter that took place in forty years ago.
and another character of story is a lesbian girl with a mysterious background who is also a professional hacker and ......
ok let's speak about movie . when u see a thriller movie with this kind of form ,the film must have a great potential to attract u.let me say this way , this movie has everything
movie techniques ,a great form to a say,a great acting,excellent storyline and most important, great characters .
you can watch 150 minutes of movie very simply and i couldn't guess next plot.
movie is part of a trilogy and i'm going to see the second part as soon as possible .
my vote : a solid 8.5

I watched the movie some days ago..it was amazing the scenes were great..in some parts my heart was beating so fast :27:, you run for your life, no matter what!!!
This film as everyone described is about the end of the world. the part that I'll remember the most was when they choose who will survive only geniuses, famous people and world leaders :18:. all others should die..and it's a fact ,if god forbid something like this happens

well, don't know how to tell the story!! it's kinda complicated, thru simple point of view I can refer to a man who takes care of his brother's wife n her cute daughters when he heard of his brother's death during the war in Afghanistan

but that is just the surface, the movie was beyond the words and dialogs; it represents the negative points of war on people, physically n mentally...how it can effect the relations n .... .
after all, that's a movie which makes u think n that is worthy to be criticized

in Religious point of view, AGAIN Islam was represented as a wild religion :41:, not that directly though

We all know Jane Auston n are familiar with her style of writing, I believe;... She has mostly focused on social manners, relations and most importantly marriage in her novels....
Pride 'n Prejudice is the most famous novel written by her n almost everyone has watched the movie;
n Persuasion, as other stories of Auston is about marriage, doesn't differ in story just details are somehow different

well i dont why nicolas cage acts such these ordinary movies in last few years...as he said somewhere its because of his
movie manager and also he's complained of him to get compensation for the loss of these years...anyway...its about a
man can predict future two minutes ahead of time....the subject of movie was

you mean about the book in the movie?...
if you recall Вullock's character had accidentally left the book at the train station (in the past). later Alex goes to the station and finds it on a bench. it is mentioned again, twice.. in the party and later when she finds it under a floorboard.
