yep its about kingdom of persia & khashayarsha The iranian king.
not like 300 but this film shows a kind & nice face of iranian king and it has happy ending.
this movie is based on a true story that among jewishes is very famous and its story of Esther.
you can read more about the story at farsi wikipedia and search the word "esther" l:
about to be interesting or not i think that watching once wont be boring.
but in my opinion its neither great nor bad its was just good.
anyway its personal u may like it or not.

O, what a movie?! It seems that sth which Mehran mentioned is right 'bout it?! Yeah? Bcuz of khashayarshah I said that.

But can you believe that I haven't watched 300...I'm not interested in watching movies which become famous, I don't know why but I'm like that. For example I have watched Titanic but I don't like it. I really don't know why it became very famous in Iran.:20:

Becoming Jane;


A very nice movie which is 'bout the life of Jane Astone. The author of Pride and Prejudice. Actually the novel.


It's a very nice movie and it's really similar to the movie "Pride and Prejudice" but not as great as it. I loved it and I really enjoyed.

Timon and Pumbaa start to watch the original Lion King movie, but Timon keeps insisting to fast forward to when they come in, because they weren't seen in the beginning of the story or anywhere until halfway through. Pumbaa suggests telling the audience their story, which begins before Simba's journey begins. Through this, we meet Timon's mother and Uncle Max, discover why he left his meerkat colony, where he learned Hakuna Matata, how he meets Pumbaa, and the perils they encountered while searching for their dream home.

It's really fantastic. Ones who don't like watching animations will change their mind by watching this one.
I just can suggest you watch it.

we should use in.Example:"This dictionary is also available in electronic form."
But if we want to use it with other meanings it might be different for example if we wanna talk 'bout how well sb/sth is performing we can use on/in(Both of them).Example: "The whole team was on good form" or "She was in great form (= happy and cheerful and full of energy) at the wedding party."
anyway, ask it from others too, Now I myself doubt.

Dear Mehran, the word you used is form and there are some words which have a speciall preposition. About form I wrote for you but about in the street and on the street.


about in park street: When you wanna point an area or a space you use in; Forexample here it's mentioning that we are/were in Park street and we are doing sth;Example: "Childeren were playing in Park street."

Wow the 1th one Rememberd me Rocky, An the second one, Lion King. I have watched it and it's really
really nice but actually which I talked about animations befor and I said I'm not fond of animations I meant animations which they show on our channels these days and children love them alot, forexample before we had Perin, Dady Long Leg, Dr ernest, Little women but now all animations and cartoons are just fiction and they just wanna kill eachother.

I do accept that even now there are some animations which are great but not as great as old animations.

I wanted to talk about a story…a movie…V For Vendetta!!!
What a great movie it is! I’ve watched it so many times and I’m going to watch more and more!!! I really enjoyed it and I believe whoever has not watched this movie has missed a great thing!
There is a great intro which the main character gives in the beginning of the movie…it’s really great…magnificent indeed. This is it:

two nights ago I watched a movie named Superbad. Actually I didn't watch it completely, It was awful. I had heard it's really funny but in my opinion it wasn't at all, It was 'bout some boys who always wished to sleep with some beautiful girls. I just watched 1st 40 minutes, I really couldn't watch it completely.

I think very nice comedy (ofcourse in its age also watchable for now), i watched it many yrs ago when i was a child i still like to watch this movie , recommend u to watch it with persian dubbed copy which is done before revolution . i should say that the working for dubbers in this movie is honorable .watching this movie reminds me many memories in that past.

afew days ago i watched 3:10 to yuma , it was a fantastic movie with a great story line and a great character .it was one of the movies that based its plot in the characters and the two poles of this film ,one Russell Crowe as ben wade and Christian Bale as Dan Evans, were both magnificent . i think this movie some how evolved the genre of westerns with their complex plot and specifically characters.during the movie you are wondering whether russell crowe character is the villain or the saint and the there are a lot of these dilemmas and conflicts in the movie . there is another character ,Charlie price, which is played by ben foster ,i love Ben and i think he was marvelous in his role. i suggest you to see this movie and i heard channel 2 is dubbing this film .this movie with its great directer(james mangold) and great casts has something for both intellectuals and common viewers.

No offense, but you didn't get the point, if we wanted to get the good information or as u said valuable ones, we can easily go to the persian part,there are lots of good reviews for every movie, So why should we read the English ones??
This topic is so different from other things in this forum, I think copy ,paste is a good thing, We use it a lot in this room, The point is that we want to learn. This is learning English by writing your ideas about movies.
In my opinion,No one wanted to break your heart or anything like that. I hope you got what I meant. The goal of this topic is learning, not getting information

The sea underworld is shaken up when the son of the shark mob boss is found dead and a young fish named Oscar is found at the scene. The story is about a dying tribe called the Mohicans in which only two are left as well as one adopted white man. These three men refuse to enter the militia for English in 1757 for they want freedom. On their way to Kentucky, the intercept Indians attacking a small regiment of British including the two daughters of an English Colonel on their way to a fort. The three men lead the survivors to the fort while two love stories take place but the French and Indian War continues.

I don't want to talk about this one. You should watch it if you haven't yet.

first time i watched this movie ,it was kind of boring and i didnt get so much of the film .there were so many great actor and actress and moreover a great director,Mike Nikols, whom i like his works very much .specifically his last serial Angels in America which was awesome specially for those who have literary taste. the second time i watched closer ,i understood many things that i hadn't noticed in the fist time,i believe that it is a kind of movie which you have to watch more than once.anyway i liked it but not a lot. i have to add that it was a first movie that natalie portman plays her mature role.

I've watched the original version too. It's great too but I just enjoyed the dubbed version more because it was really funny. The dialogs were interesting and I was really amazed to see that ultimately a company (Glory Entertainments)is caring about the creativity and is trying to do a nice job. Although I've recentl heard that they have closed this company just for no reason.

But I have to say that I disagree. It depends on your personality and the types of movies you watch. If you are a stable person and watch decent movies, Ithink it will have really nice effects on your personal life.

But I agree with Azadeh, Indian Movies are different from American, I'm not fond of indian movies at
all, I do believe that they're not real but 'bout American movies there ae alot of movies which can teach you a lot! Although there are aslo some movies which are good just for fun but I think American movies are much more useful than Indian ones. Dun yoy think so?!

I think we have to write something about the movies we introduce ut I really don't know what to tell. But I have to say this animation is really a creative one. I loved it very much. A bald and fat man is in the main role, he is so mad and has the power to affect others thoughts and actions.a group of officials ( including the police and psychiatrists ) are trying to help him get out of that wierd disease.but there is another ten-fellow group that they fall into this mad's trap. this ten fellow group get stuck in a motel room in the middle of a desert( it is raining in torrents and nobody can get out of that motel because of flood and the phone lines are interrupted) there is a child( 10 year- old ) in this group called timmy. he is controlled by this mad man and through interesting and horrible events kills every body.

This movie is a masterpiece by casting of Clint Eastwood, Hillary Swank and Morgan Freeman:40:
I watched it in GEM TV on hotbird. It's one of best non-western movies of Clint Eastwood. I really enjoyed it. It's about a girl who loves boxing and goes to a famous boxing trainer (Clint Eastwood). She becomes really good but in an accident she becomes totally paralized. At the end she requests her trainer to kill her and ease her suffering. Watch it yourself and enjoy.

I can not say it was a great movie but I really enjoyed. The story was about poor women in Juarez(A town in Mexico)who were molested and killed by some people. Jennifer Lopez was acting a journalist role who worked in Washington but she came to Juarez in order to complete her news about this action.
This movie was dedicated to the missing and murdered women of Juarez.

This film was a beautifull film with starring Russell Crowe as officer Bud White,Guy pearce as Let.Exley and kim basinger as lynn bracken and directed by curtis hanson.
this film was about an officer that fall in love with a woman and research about his friend murder but this was exley's duty.I really enjoyed when i saw it last night.our province channel in CINEMA 5 program had showed it before twice but they'd damaged the film and they had changed film a lo:2:t.

It was really nice, I liked it. It had three stories which were related to each other, First one was about a woman who was injured by a gun shot while she was traveling by bus with her husband(Brad Pitt) and the second story was about their children who were at home with their nanny and a problem happened to them and the third one which was In Japan and it was about a dumb and deaf girl who liked to have a boyfriend but bcuz of her problem all boys avoided her.

I prefer Lord of the rings and I dun like Harry potter:41:, I dun know why but I even haven't watche it completely:31:. Today in the morning when I was going to the work it was just me and me on the street nothing alive could be seen in the city. I had to go on foot.

My exams also start next week but unlike you mine are really hard and I think I'll fail at least half of them.

today I saw this fantastic movie and that was really really really good and today this movie was really making me cry and I really dont know what to say any thing about the movie
all I can say is that this mvie was really good
the story of this movie is about some really poor teenage girls from mexico they are really poor they work hard in a company day and night becouse of nothing their salary was really bad and there is a murder in their city who gets the girls and ... and after that he kills them and the police of the city does nothing about it becouse the murder is a really rich person and they cant do anything to him and about 350 young girls were killed by his hands and the interesting point is here that the movie is based o a true story that was very wondering for me poor girls were killed by him and no body didnt care about it I really suggest you to see that
and yet in that city there are girls dying and thats very bad
and the name of the city is juarez you can search on the internet and see lots of things about juarez project

Last night I watched an action movie. What a surprise, Yeah?! It was really intresting, I loved it. I think
from now on I should try watching action movies. Not all of them but some of them

A man who was a T.V shows producer decided to make a new kinda program but not for T.V, for
Internet. He chose 10 people who were in jail and they were all sentenced to death . he released them and took them to a jungle and took them 30 hours tofight and kill each other.(If they couldn't they would die after 30 hours with a special tool which was fastened to their feet) And he had put some cameras in the jungle so he could show this action show online and about 40 milion of people entered his site to watch this show ...i

its unrelated this topic but i think yes box and kong fu and kikbox .... are violance a little bit but taekwondo isnt like 'em.
any way before i watched a movie that name is BIG MOMMA'S HOUSE its in comedy genre and released in 2000
and can make u laugh a lot it is good of course not very great just good.
In this film u can see almost black people black police black girls black boys …… but dun worry its not bad.the story is 'bout a police that want to captive a guilty for that he make himself like big momma and……..
and u can see it with children it doesnt have many adult sences

Wow wow wow let me suggest u an unique movie that I watched today and twice !

Twice in row !

I never do such things but no, I did once and that was about the kill bill movie

Because that movie is on my top list .

But Memento ! that I watched today was another sort of film.

Those kind of movies you never forget and in future u can not see a movie same it .

The story is about a guy whose is leonard and he has no short-term memory.

And he want to kill who murdered his wife.

uses notes and tattoos to hunt for the man he thinks killed his wife

it’s powerful movie ,strong,and unforgettable

the director of movie is a genius man whose name is Nolan


another movie of him is prestige that I know anyone who sees that agree with me .

I don’t continue to say about that but when u watch that u we’ll be forced to watch that more times to better undrestand the movie puzzle.
the movie has many pieces that u must put them together to solve that!
when the pieces come together u see a pure masterpiece !
a piece of work.no doubt !


It’s easily on my 10 of all time

Tonight i watched a movie "Perfect Stranger" Neither good nor bad heyyy So so in my opinion

Its 'bout a girl Rowena (acted by halle berry),she's is reporter but cuz of some reasons she quits and finds in the subway her childhood friend (a girl)which is killed alil after ,with the assistance of her hacker friend,she finds a rich n powerful business man Harrison Hill(bruce willis)as her suspect connected to her friends death,she goes to be hired in Hills bussiness to findout ...
at the end of the movie u will find the killer (i couldnt guess,maybe u can)and its shown that everyone has a secrect in his/her life and will protects & keeps it in anyway ,like killing or lying.

My grade to this movie C+ means Flawed but worthy
