:A Brief Summary Of The Classes In This Game
Swordsman Branch.
Swordsman - Basic, some attack buffs, some slashing skills.
Highlander - "Traditional" 2 handed sword user. Has displacement/knockback on a lot of skills.
I believe enemies take more damage if they collide with each other/terrain.
Peltasta - The tank. Has aggro skill, lowered att, heightened defense and blocking.
Hoplite - Spearman. Can go 1H + shield(semi-tanky) or 2H(damage), has a spartan jump with spear, multiple thrust skills, spear tossing (you have to pick it back up though)
Barbarian - "Wild" 2 handed sword user. Known for "Frenzy" which makes your normal attacks continuously deal more damage the more you hit the same enemy. Sword skills involve kicks, throwing enemies, stomping instead of just slashes.
Cataphract - Mounted 2H Spearman. Mobile, and can skewer enemies to slam into other enemies.
Rodelero - Shield based attacker. Not necessarily a tank. Shield smashes, shield lobbing, shield charges, shield slams.
Squire - The support warrior. Repairs weapons and armor (also temporarily buffs them) sets up campfires(increases buff durations, allows warping and storage), food tables (food buffs).
Corsair - The pirate. Equips sword and dagger, combo stabbing with both. Pirate flag creates a combo minigame that ramps up damage if you kill enemies and decays over time. Can also unlock chests. Cuz piracy. Also has hook skills.
Doppelsoeldner - Has risk-reward buffs for exp,drop rates, and damage/atk speed. Has cyclone and heavy hitting skills with no weapon requirement.
Fencer - Elegant, graceful, uses a rapier to stab/pierce enemies.
Centurion - Create different formations for party play. Allies enter formation and everyone moves together as a unit. Formations can be offensive and defensive, tightly packed, or spread out, each giving different effects and buffs. I've heard that this class has been bumped to Rank 7 and will not be available for this upcoming beta.
Wizard Branch.
Wizard - Basic, has magic bolts and an earthquake.
Pyromancer - Fire AoE, fireballs, firewalls, fire breath, enchant fire wep.
Cryomancer - Ice AoE, ice bolts, giant snowballs, giant freezing tree.
Psychokino - Position swapping, teleports, psychic forces, grouping enemies.
Linker - Link enemies or allies together. Allies can share buffs and benefits, enemies linked together will all take dmg if one is hit.
Thaumaturge - Growth themed. Enlarge allies to buff their dmg, shrink enemies to lower their threat, enlarge enemies to increase their HP, EXP, drop rates. Mostly buffs.
Buffs: Increase ally ATK, ally MATK, ally INT, ally DEF or ATK(based on 2nd hand being a shield or dagger, CON & INT swapping.
Elementalist - Your meteors, hails, ice clouds, electrocutions. "Mage-y".
Sorcerer - Summoner class. With demons.
Chronomancer - Time theme. Slow enemies, speed up allies(movement speed and atk speed), revert enemy movements or actions, time stopping.
Necromancer - Kill enemies to pick up corpses! Uses corpses for skills. Summon skeletons, corpse towers, corpse barraging.
Alchemist - Item interaction. Facet gems, create potions and items.
Archer Branch.
Archer - Basic, but has potential. 2 attack speed buffs, multishot, penetrating shot, ricochet shot, knockback shot.
Quarrel Shooter - "Medieval". Has a crossbow, can collect and fire stones, scatter spikes, and actually run while shooting.
Ranger - Closest you'll find to "sniper". Lowers attack speed for attack boosts to skills. Has more AoE options, but still strong single target.
Hunter - Comes with a single companion. Skills involve companion attacking,pushing,holding,grabbing enemies while you shoot with a bow.
Sapper - Trap themed. Spike traps, arrow traps, bomb traps, explosives. Can explode enemy traps and magic circles.
Wugushi - Poison themed. Spreads poison to enemies via puddles, parasites, and arrows.
Scout - Cloaking, camoflauging, reveals hidden enemies and items,can fear enemies, has a strange space-distortion skill that allows melee party members to be ranged to an extent.
Rogue - "Thief". XBow in 1 hand, dagger in the other. Backstab enemies for interactions with crit, heightened evasion, dirty play with blinding enemies and stealing their traps for later use. Apparently also able to steal ally magic circles for later use as well.
Fletcher - Arrow specialist. Comes with a large arrow variety, each doing something special. (Bleed, anti-barrier, anti-light armor, fire, massive explosion)
Falconer - Comes with a hawk. Hawk can attack, help you go airborne, and debuff.
Shwarzer Reiter - Mounted gunner. Mobile, shoots while riding on mount.
I've decided to organize the Cleric branches a bit differently because they all come with tons of different buff/debuffs which can be confusing. I've split them into what they do outside of buffs, the buffs themselves, and debuffs. Other classes have buffs/debuffs as well, but in the case of the cleric branch, they aren't exactly thematic and there are too many to count.
Cleric Branch.
Cleric - Healing (tile based). Cleanse Lv1.
Buffs: Increase ally skill level. Magic circle that blocks attacks. Drop your own aggro. Apply mark to an ally and when you are hit, they eat the damage instead.
Debuffs: Drop enemy DEF.
Priest - AoE Healing. Ressurection.
Buffs: Increase ally DEF, ally ATK, ally DEX, anti-death
Debuffs: Drop enemy DEF, drop enemy evasion
Krivis - "Tribal" in a way. Involves sigils and magic circles. Offensive lightning circle spell.
Buffs: Increase Maximum Buff Count(!!), HP Regen,ally STR, ally INT, ally CRIT dmg, Buff time extension
Debuffs: Drop enemy ACC, drop enemy crit resistance.
Bokor - Zombie themed. Drop a magic circle and kill an enemy on top to summon a zombie. Skills involve zombie formations, and buffing zombies
Buffs: Mark an ally with a charm. They will take zero damage while the charm is active, but eat all the damage afterwards.
Debuffs: Drop enemy MDEF.
Dievdirby - Sculptor class. Buy wood from the shop or carve plant monsters. Owl statue(this is your only offensive statue) can spew green flames.
Buffs: Warping, decrease SP cost, decrease cooldowns. (Also a third one that you need to circle around a statue 3 times, but im not sure)
Debuffs: Silence enemies
Sadhu - Soul theme. Your spirit moves out of your body to fight enemies. Can explode spirit.
Buffs: INT transfer skill
Debuffs: Bind, Drop enemy STR,CON,INT,SPR,DEX (you can't move, literally becoming the AoE debuff circle)
Paladin - The holy warrior. Really not too sure. May insta-kill mutants and demons with a skill.
Buffs: Barrier that shoves enemies away, Increase ally DEF, increase ally HP Regen, SP Regen.
Elemental Resistance (not sure if to self or party)
Debuffs: Drop enemy fire,ice,electric,posion resistance.
Monk - STR based fist fighting. Multiple punches and a flippin Kamehameha.
Buffs: Physical dmg reflect to self. Invulnerability (you can't attack while doing this)
Debuffs: Bleed, Silence, Armor Break
Pardoner - Cleanse Lv2. Create magic scrolls that can activate a skill. (so anyone can pop a scroll to buff themselves/use skills you can use)
Buffs: Increase ally MDEF
Debuffs: Extend debuff duration of debuffs already on enemies
Druid - Nature. Create grass to control/attack with. Shapeshift into animals/plants.
Oracle - Prophet of items. Reroll enemies themselves, predict item drops, enemy attacks, reset enemy drops
Buffs: Increase ally Max HP, Increase ally Max SP
Debuffs: Timed Death. Enemy dies instantly after a set time. (Pretty sure this won't work on bosses for obvious reasons)
