Visual Basic .NET Database Programming explains how you can use databases in your Visual Basic.NET applications. It talks briefly about several different ways a program can manage data but focuses heavily on the most common type of database in use today: a relational database. This book does assume you have at least some familiarity with some version of Visual Basic. If you have never used Visual Basic before, you might want to start with a more general Visual Basic book.
