نرم‌افزار به كاررفته Nero Backup 2 نام دارد، فايل‌ها را در طول تهيه‌ي بك‌آپ فشرده مي‌كند تا حجم داده‌ها كاهش يابد و اطلاعات نيز با پسورد قابل پشتيباني هستند

Lorsch, 06.06.2007 – TrekStor, the leading manufacturer of high quality MP3 players, external hard disks and USB sticks presents its latest hard disk, the DataStation duo w.u. The external storage device provides enough space for one terabyte (TB) of data. The 3.5” hard disk also supports automated backups for its own data using the popular Nero software, Nero BackItUp 2 Essentials. The “Push for Backup” function now makes securing data even easier, directly at the press of a button.
DataStation duo w.u – gigantean storage for up to 1000 gigabytes
The new external 3.5” hard disk comprises two 500GB disks and serves as un-complicated memory extension for the PC. The ideal solution for users where even 500 GB is testing the limits, data, images, music, games and anything else cluttering up the PC can now be saved without qualms on the external TrekStor disk. Important data are therefore additionally backed up and can be taken on journeys, to friends, to work or back home. The DataStation duo w.u. is displayed as a single 1 TB drive, therefore simplifying usage. The mobile data storage unit is also easy to use thanks to an on/off switch on the front panel. The new hard disk offers exceptionally fast data transfer via a hi-speed USB 2.0 interface, is bootable and is pre-formatted for immediate use.
Backup – simple, safe and fast
The delivered backup software Nero BackItUp2 allows users to plan their data backups very easily. It enables individual files or entire drives to be secured immediately at the press of a switch, without having to load any backup settings beforehand. The software compresses the backups directly “on the fly” to reduce the data volume. If desired, data can also be password protected to guard against unauthorized access.
