او پرنيانِ نوازشِ بال‌هايي ظريف را احساس کرد که گرد قلب فروزانش پرپر زنان مي‌چرخيدند،و عشقي بزرگ وجود او رو تسخير کرد...عشقي که قدرتش ذهن آدمي را از دنياي کميت و اندازه جدا مي‌کند...عشقي که زبان به سخن مي‌گشايد،هنگامي که زبان زندگي فرو مي‌ماند...عشقي که همچون شعله کبودِ فانوس دريايي، راه را نشان مي دهد و با نوري که به چشم ديده نمي‌شود هدايت مي‌کند.

Life without Love is like a tree without blossom and fruit.And Love without beauty is like flowers without scent and fruits without seeds...Life,Love,and Beauty are three persons in one,who cannot be separated or changed.l

In truth have earthly bodies desired unbeknown

زندگي بدون عشق،به درختي مي‌ماند بدون شکوفه و ميوه.عشق بدون زيبايي،به گل‌هايي مي‌ماند بدون رايحه و به ميوه‌هايي که هسته ندارند...زندگي،عشق و زيبايي،يک روحند در سه بدن که نه از يکديگر جدا مي‌شوند و نه تغيير مي‌کنند.

جان‌هاي خاکي ما که اشتياقي پنهان به حقيقت دارند
گاه‌به‌گاه براي مصالح زميني از آن دور مي‌شوند
و براي هدفي زميني از آن جدا مي‌افتند
با وجود اين همه،همه روح‌ها در دستان امنِ عشق اقامت دارند
تا زماني که مرگ از راه برسد و آْن‌ها را نزد خدا به عالم بالا ببرد

Tell me,for Love's sake,what is that flame which burns in my heart and devours my strength and dissolves will?l

It is wrong to thinks that love comes from long companionship and preserving courtship.Love is the offspring of spiritual affinity and unless that affinity is created in a moment, it will not be created in years or even generations.l

It is but the Love of a blind man who known not the beauty of one nor the ugliness of another.l

براي خاطر عشق به من بگو، آن شعله چه نام دارد که در دلم زبانه مي‌کشد، نيرويم را مي‌بلعد و اراده‌ام را زايل مي‌کند؟

خطاست اگر بينديشيم عشق حاصل مصاحبت دراز مدت و با هم بودني مُجدانه است، عشق ثمر خويشاونديِ روحي است و اگر اين خويشاوندي در لحظه‌اي تحقق نيابد، در طول ساليان و حتي نسل‌ها نيز تحقق نخواهد يافت.

فقط عشقِ آدمِ کور است که نه زيبايي را درک مي‌کند و نه زشتي را.

For Love when love is homesick exhausts time's measurements and time's soundings.l

Love is a gracious host to hi guests though to the unbidden his house is a mirage and a mockery.l

Love knows not its depth till the hour of separation.l

عشق،وقتي دچار غم غربت باشد،از حساب زمان و هياهوي آن ملول مي‌گردد.

عشق ميزباني مهربان است.گرچه براي ميهمانِ ناخوانده،خانه عشق سراب است و مايه خنده.

عشق از ژرفاي خويش آگاه نمي‌شود،جز در لحظه جدايي.

اگر فقیر هستی اجتناب کن از کسی که آدم ها را با معیار ثروت می سنجد.

I prefer to be a dreamer among the humblest, with visions to be realized, than lord among them without dreams and desires.
ترجیح می دهم گنگ خواب دیده ای باشم در میان بی چیز ترین آدم ها با آرزوهایی برای دست یافتن. دوست ندارم اربابی باشم در میان آنهایی که نه رویایی در سر دارند و نه آرزویی در دل.

عشق در ردايِ افتادگي از کنارمان مي‌گذرد;اما ما مي‌ترسيم و از او مي‌گريزيم، يا در تاريکي پنهان مي‌شويم، يا اين‌که تعقيبش مي‌کنيم و به نام او دست به شرارت مي‌زنيم.

عشق رازي است مقدس.
براي کساني که عاشقند،عشق براي هميشه بي‌کلام مي‌ماند; اما براي کساني که عشق نمي‌ورزند، عشق شوخيِ بي‌رحمانه‌اي بيش نيست.

حتي عاقل‌ترينِ مردمان نيز زير بار سنگين عشق خم مي‌شوند; اما به راستي، عشق به سبکي و لطافت نسيم خوشِ لبنان است.

عشق واژه‌اي است از جنس نور که با دستي از جنس نور،بر صفحه‌اي از جنس نور نوشته مي‌شود.

عشق مانند مرگ همه چيز را دگرگون مي‌کند.

نخستين نگاه معشوق،به روحي ازلي مي‌ماند که بر سطح آب‌ها روان شد،بهشت و جهنم را آفريد،سپس گفن:"باش!" و همه چيز موجود شد.

If reward is the goal of religion, if patriotism serves self-interest, and if education is pursued for advancement, then I would prefer to be a nonbeliever, a non-patriot, and a humbly ignorant man.
اگر هدف دین پاداش باشد اگر وطن دوستی در خدمت منافع شخصی باشد اگر آموزش و پرورش را برای پیشبرد اهداف خویش دنبال کنند٬ پس من ترجیح می دهم فردی بی اعتقاد٬ آدمی بدون حب به وطن و انسانی معمولی و نادان باشم.
He brings disaster upon his nation who never sows a seed, or lays a brick, or weaves a garment, but makes politics his occupation.
بر سر ملت خویش فاجعه می آورد کسی که بذری نمی کارد٬ آجری بر آجری نمی گذارد و یا جامه ای نمی دوزد اما سیاست (هم به معنای قدیم خود و هم به معنای جدید خود) را پیشه ی خود می سازد .

(پروردگارا) مرا از دست آنکس رها کن که حقیقت را نمی گوید مگر برای آنکه نیشی بزند و از آدمی که کار نیک می کند و اندیشه ی بدی در سر می پروراند و از دست کسی که با عیب جویی از دیگران عزت نفسی برای خود دست و پا می کند .
