Hi guys,
As you all know every translator has her/his own method of translating .
But some translators are very professional. I mean the way that they translate the words makes them more meaningful and easy to understand.
My question is that WHAT MAKES THEM TICK.
WHAT ARE THEIR METHODS?
If you have any suggestion please post it here.

the subject (How to Become a translator) and the text (WHAT ARE THE METHODS) don't seem to be exactly at the same page ... to which one you need an answer ? (both?!)
we've talked about the first Q in this ([ برای مشاهده لینک ، لطفا با نام کاربری خود وارد شوید یا ثبت نام کنید ])topic ... search it

unfortunately , you didn't answer my Q ... but I suppose you're yearning for both ...forgive me if I misunderstood
1. the term "professional" could be very subjective (i.e as a profession , or as a certain amount of skill) ,but anyway, you need to be really good at English ... with lots of experience (in both lang's )... I believe it's the most important factor ..
2. although there are certain methodologies , I can assure you that each translator has its own way of doing the work ... if you are looking for more academic ways , you can buy the books ... I never used them though!
hope it helps
P.S: check the first part of this post ([ برای مشاهده لینک ، لطفا با نام کاربری خود وارد شوید یا ثبت نام کنید ])... as an example of XP vs. Methodology in translation
