اونا یکی رو میخوان تا بهشون احساس امنیت بده
و مردمی که احساس امنیت کنند خطر کمتری دارن و بهره‌وری بیشتر

اونا یه دوست رو همراه یک ببر میبینن
شروع میکنن به داستانسرایی اینکه تو حیات وحش پیداش کردم
جنگیدم و تسلیمش کردم
و تبدیلش کردم به یه حیوان خانگی

اونا اون شخص رو بزرگتر از رندگی میکنن، اون رو تبدیل به یک قهرمان میکنن
و من کی هستم که بخوام اون حباب خیالاتشون رو از بین ببرم؟

چیز دیگه‌ای که باید بدونی اینه که اونا با من مثل یک پادشاه رفتار میکنن
اونا میخوان، نیاز دارن که از یک نفر پیروی کنند، پس من هم اون نقش رو اجرا کردم.
این نقش رو جعل کردم تا جایی که تونستم اون رو بوجودبیارم. (و حقیقی جلوه بدم.)

والتر وایت: اصلا می دونی داری با کی صحبت می کنی؟ میدونی من در سال چقدر درآمد دارم؟ حتی اگه بهت بگم باور نمی کنی. می دونی اگه یکباره تصمیم بگیرم کارم رو بزارم کنار چی میشه؟ یک تجارت غول آسا بدون من براحتی متوقف میشه! نه، قطعا نمی دونی داری با کی صحبت می کنی، پس بزار برات روشن کنم! من در خطر نیستم، اسکایلر. من خود خطر هستم! یه نفر در رو باز می کنه و بعدش تیر میخوره، فکر می کنی من اونم؟ نه! من اونی هستم که در میزنه!
