Mophie has announced the forthcoming release of a new iPhone accessory that will extend the life of the 3G battery. Called the Juice Pack Air, the new external battery is encased within a protective fitting that, says the company, is the world's thinnest of its type.
So, while providing your iPhone with a hard shell protection, the battery that is included inside the shell will double the usable life of your iPhone. The light-weight, low-profile design features a 1200mAh lithium polymer battery but also features a pass through USB port to enable the iPhone to be connected to iTunes et al.
The Mophie shell, which measures 4.9in in height x 2.59in in width and 0.75in in depth, includes an on/off switch to toggle between the internal or external battery while an included 4 LED light bank provides an indicator as to the charge status of the case.

Samsung has announced the immediate availability of a new Bluetooth headset to be known as the WEP100. Priced at a very reasonable $9.99, the accessory is available for purchase online, right now. UK customers can also buy the headset.
The new accessory is light in stature and only weighs 9g. Of course, at this affordable price, you shouldn't expect top of the line features. However, the headset does surprise in its comfortable design as it incorporates an air-gap earpiece for enhanced comfort. Compatible with Bluetooth 1.1 and higher, the set is also compliant with a number of hands-free profiles.
The headset also offers a multi-function button which handles redialling, activiating voice dial or rejecting calls. With a range of around 30ft, the WEP100 has a talk-time endurance of 5.5 hours plus a standby time of 70 hours. It also includes an ear hook and power adaptor.

Jabra has come up with an in-car handsfree alternative to sticking a headset in your lughole. The Jabra SP200 is a speakerphone that connects to your handset via Bluetooth. Designed to clip onto the visor of your car leaving you to concentrate on your driving, the Jabra SP200 can also be used to conduct conference calls at home or in the workplace. Rather than inundate the speakerphone with a variety of buttons, the SP200 simply has one large control key sitting alongside a volume wheel and a dedicated on/off switch. Jabra also claims that its DSP technology will reduce background noise and cancel out any echoing for enhanced call quality.
The Jabra SP200 speakerphone is available from 1 April from The Carphone Warehouse for approximately £39.99.

Motorola has released news of its upcoming new Bluetooth speaker. Positioned as the company's very first outdoor speaker, the new unit will be known as the T325 and closely follows the recent announcement of Sony Ericsson's similarly positioned MS500 - also a Bluetooth speaker.
The Motorola T325 is reported to include a hands free accessory set that will enable to unit to be used within a car.
According to the Unwired website, further details about the speaker's features, specs or size are not currently known. There is speculation, however, that the T325 should be able to work with any Motorola mobile phone that has Bluetooth with A2DP.
A final price for the Motorola Bluetooth speaker has yet to be released. Similarly, there have been no details relating to the release date or any UK specific details. Some observers say that a Summer release date is likely, however.
