ولي بازي به نظر خيلي روانتر از قبلي ها به نظر مياد واقعا انتظار كشيدن چه سخته بچه ها با اين انتظاري كه ما ميكشيم اگه اونطور كه بايد شايد راضيمون نكنه خيلي خمار ميشيم ها. خدا نكنه اينطور بشه چون برنامه ها دارم براي Pes 2009 راستي We هم براش همزمان مياد؟ فكر كنم ورژن ژاپني اسنش همينه

Last week I noted a few points I liked about the Fifa demo, but did say that Fifa wouldn’t be rocking my boat
this year, adding at the end of the article that I would be getting Pro Evo 09 [as usual…]. All I got in response was 80% of people slating the Fifa demo, not even noticing that I said that my personal opinion was that it wasn’t as good as PES. I’m going to ask - more of a formality really as I’m sure it won’t happen - that people try to take into account other people’s views and preferences in the comments section. If everyone loved PES then Konami wouldn’t have any competition, and would probably just sit back and make improvements on the previous versions, rather than trying to take big steps forward. I do like the way that you can take shots on goal whilst loading in Fifa, but having games tested NBA ’09 and another EA title this week, I noticed how much longer loading times are in the EA games compared to the Konami titles, which kind of makes the point of having something to do during loading titles a little redundant.

Yes, there are in my opinion a lot of things wrong with the Fifa ’09 demo. The ball weight was ridiculous, the way every single tackle was a successful one, no room to manoeuvre; I could go on and on. I was just pointing out a few things I liked, and wondering if other people liked them too. For the record, I had no intention of buying Fifa, and am buying PES again this year.

My favourite comment was a slightly random one from Simon McDermott; ‘Fifa are the donkey, Pes is the carrot.’ Just thought I’d highlight that one

Gameplay videos

As there’s less than a month ‘til the release of Pro Evolution ’09, news should start streaming in; and it’s the new gameplay videos that have me more excited. I still regularly play PES ’08 and like it, so the fact that the gameplay videos look a little like PES ’08 - slowed down a little - with a bit of PES 6 thrown in makes me think that I’m going to love it… but quite a few will hate it. To me, that’s how it’s looking at the moment, but obviously we’re going to have to wait for the demo until we can make up our minds. In my opinion screenshots are all pretty similar at this stage in the waiting game, and the gameplay videos are all similar too, but the newest screenshots uploaded have really caught my eye, and look very impressive. I’d like to do a quick mention of thanks to Krishna who takes his time and effort to post and update the news section of pesgaming.com.

The small things/the big question

Recently someone in the comments section was mentioning that it’s the small things that could really make Pes ’09 a brilliant game. As this poster said, small ideas such as the captain giving his armband to another player when substituted off, the goalkeeper’s drink bottle getting knocked flying should a shot hit it; additions like this which I really agree would make the game that little more realistic, and it’d be a nice talking point if they implemented a few of these suggestions in future editions of the game.

Which leads me on to this week’s big question. What ‘cool’ additions similar to the two I’ve just mentioned would you like to see in Pro Evo 2010/2011 +? Personally, I think the goalnets could be improved, maybe a wayward shot knocking a camera over behind the goal, or maybe just a referee slipping over in wet or snowy weather! Over to you.
