It was started when Fong Gow a farmer who live in Taiwan composed a song is called Return to Innocence. Because of his condition he learnt to sing in childhood. When he was child the he remembers member of his family singing when they worked on rice paddies. Then he learnt to sing too.

Professor Hsu chang Wei, a ethnomusicologist at Taiwan university invited Fong Gow to have some concerts in Europe. They formed a band and went to France for performing concerts.

After they performed concerts in France, the academics who enjoyed that asked for recording it. Fong Gow accepted just one for researching purposes.

After that a German groupe, Enigma which heard their CD, bought the complete right of that CD without acquaintance of Fong Gow. They mixed it with some other voices and sold it all around the world. And they could earn a lot of money and famousness but nothing received to Fong Gow.

A few years later Fong Gow s granddaughter brought a tape home and played it and that was the moment he found this is his voice but he couldn t remember how it has happened.

Then he wrote to the German band but they told him we have legal permission and we bought it. He contact to French government but the ministry of culture didn reply. And this is the problem : who is the owner of the music?

Some say the copyright of music doesn t belong to one man but it belongs to people s culture.

Some people say it belongs to Fong Gow. Because he is the oldest man in his tribe.

And finally some say it is more moral problem than a legal one. Therefore people who earn a lot of money from Fong Gow s art should pay to him.

My summery of the reading
In this reading a reporter FRANK KOLLER talks to us about the wrong use of composers of pop music from folklore music of Taiwan. His report is about the case,in which a German musician used the voice of a Taiwanese rice farmer, Lee Fong Gwo, in his song with out consulting him and paying him any money or even mentioning his name. the reporter talks to different related people about this fact and he tries to say that in under-discussion case copyright is preserved for Taiwanese farmer who sung the song since his childhood according to his tradition which he has inherited. But pop group paid no respect or attention to him morally and legally.

..از زمانیکه هفده ساله بودم = since I was 17

بعضی افعال ( مانند know / like / believe ) معمولا در present perfect conyinuous مورد استفاده قرار نمیگیرند.
چه مدت است که جین را میشناسی ؟ = ? How long have you known Jane
تمام طول روز معده درد داشتم = I've had a pain in my stomach all day
توجه شود که در دو جمله ی بالا have you been knowning و have been having به کار نمیرود.

برای افعالی مانند work و live میتوان هر دو زمان را به کار برد :

اما زمانی که always رو در جمله می آوریم ، دیگر نمیتوان از continuous استفاده کرد و تنها میتوان present perfect معمولی رو به کار برد.

Unite: 12 When …? and How long …?

We use for and since to say how long something has been happening.

Use of for:

We use for + a period of time:

Two hours, a week, six months, ages, 50 years etc.))

I have been waiting for two hours.

Use of since:

We use since + the start of a period:

(8 o'clock, 1987, Christmas, Monday, lunchtime etc.)

Sally has been working here since April.

Compare of past simple and present perfect:

A: When did it start raining?

B: It started raining an hour ago / at 1 o'clock.

A: how long has it been raining?

B: It's been raining for an hour / since 1 o'clock.

We can use since / how long in another form:

It's + since something happened':

Its two years since I last saw Joe.

It means that I have not seen Joe for two years.

How long is it since…?'

How long is it since you last saw Joe?

It means when did you last see Joe?

Since +زمان شروع کار

.سالی از ماه آوریل تا به حال در اینجا مشغول کار است.

مقایسه زمان گذشته ساده و زمان حال کامل:
A: When did it start raining?
الف: باران از کی شروع به باریدن کرده:
B: It started raining an hour ago / at 1 o'clock.
ب: از ساعت یک/ از یک ساعت پیش تا به حال باران در حال باریدن است.

مامیتوانیم از since / how long به صورتی دیگر استفاده کنیم:
میتوانیم از How long در جمله های سوالی استفاده کنیم

مثلا: How long is it since you last saw Joe?
چه مدت از آخرین باری که جو را دیدی میگذرد؟
یعنی آخرین بار کی جو را دیدی؟

برای جواب دادن به نوع سوال بالایی :

الان دوسال از وقتی که جو را برای اخرین بار دیدم میگذرد

She said, well I have nothing to give but I can give you necklace. So she took off necklace from her neck and she gave it on. So he sat there and woom, woom and he spin a whole wire of gold. Next morning, the king entered and said, wow, you spin the whole wire of gold that’s amazing! Well, she said, can I leave now? He said: No, you have to spin this bigger pile of hay. So she sat there, thinking and thinking and hoping the little man will return. So a couple of minutes later, he returned and said, what's wrong? well, I have to spin this bigger bigger pile of hay and I don't know how to do it. so she asked the little man: could you please owe me again. He said: what you give me this time? Well I don't have anything left but I have a ring in my finger. Would you like that? And so he said: sure so he sat there and woom woom woom and even faster and by the morning time the hay were all finished and all spin of gold. The daughter said "sure. OK". She can't think anything else to do. So, he spins and spins all night until all finished and in the next morning, the king took the daughter as his wife. So, after she born child, little man came in to her room and said "Well, can I have my child, now? And she's sad then & crying and said "no, I'll give you anything, anything but my child ..." He said "we'll have 3 days, 3 whole days to figure out my name. If you can figure out after 3 days, you keep your child. So, she found a massager. She sent him out to looking, searching and searching for the most unusual names and when he came back she said "Is your name Casper?" He said "no". "Hiller?" He said "no". "Scamlly?" He said "no". On the 2nd day, little man returned and she told him ------name. "Askeborn?" He said "no". "Hillerd?" He said "no" and she mention like 5 more names. On 3ed day , she sent a massager out and he walked around the wood and he heard a man ( a little man )'s happy on one leg and crying : tomorrow I brew , today I bake and then the child I will take . -------------- The Rumblestitlskin is my name and he took this back to the queen and said "queen, I found it, I found it. I saw a little man and he said Rumblestitlskin is his name". So, when the little man returned she said "Is your name Harry?" he said "no". "Joan?" He said "no". "Rumblestitlskin". He said "What…. ---- told you. ----told you" and she ---- smiled and enjoyed and he return and spin and spin around. --------

there are so many bamboo, bamboos and one day he came back from the sea and told his wife I see something is shiny in the ---- bamboot and his wife said oh yeah and so they looked the back of their backyard and the bamboo, lots of bamboos in their backyard and going through the mountain and then she said let s go and take a look so both went to see and what is really shiny in their bamboot dark bamboot among bamboos and then they found one bamboo very shiny and beautiful, so they said look at this why this bamboo is so shiny? And man said ok let cut it, so they cut the bamboo and they found a beautiful baby there. Gold baby and woman said look I found a little tiny baby here in this bamboo and man said oh yeah she is so beautiful. We don’t have at all babies, let adapt her and Id like to live here and she said yeah I love her ----- and they picked up little girl baby from bamboo. Baby was so beautiful and husky --- and I saw shiny and very very beautiful baby. Man said oh I find another shiny stuff, what is it? oh this is gold coin I found and so he picked up gold coin and went home, they were very poor and but they had very warm heart and kind gentle of people and they give a lot candy send cookies to kids and their neighbourhood who are always ---- so that they don t have anything to eat to use in their house. But the man just came back from the sea so they had a fish but they just picked up also gold coin and the they said ok let buy a beautiful clothes for baby and let s you know give her enough food and feed her. So they went to town and they came back with food and feed baby and they named baby Kagoya. And after that strange things was kept appearing, when they saw we would like to have a nice house, so that two ---- kagoya is going to enjoy -----. And then they always find shiny bamboo in the backyard and they go there and cut bamboo, then they find always gold coins there, so they bought a beautiful house and they bought beautiful ---for their daughter and they started living very happily and the kagoya became prettier and taller and taller and finally she has become a teenager, then she started sometimes looking up the moon and crying, so man and woman asked what happened to my daughter, what makes you so sad, then kagoya looked up her parents and said: dad and mum nothing, but I just said, I m just very very sad. I didn t tell dad and mum anything why she is crying. And when she reach seventeen years old, how beauty and nice gentle personality became famous and many many young men wanted to merry her and they came to their house and asked kagoya to be their wife. However kagoya didn t want to merry to anybody and one day loud of that region heard about beauty of kagoya and he came to see her and feeling lovely with her ---- ----- and so he proposed her but kagoya looks sad and said I can not merry you, and one they it was a forenoon and it was -----.and kagoya was looking after moon. Then they saw beautiful ship coming down from the moon to her and ship finally arrived near by her then four strong and worriers --- -------------- and they came to kagoya and they said princes kagoya I am old spring and second man said I am old winter and third man I am ------

And they bought very ---- princes kagoya .
And the man and woman was so surprised because they treated kagoya so wonderful and they called kagoya ----- princes kagoya and then the man called ------.



And then beautiful music and beautiful smell just felt by air and kagoya said to her mum and dad thank you very much father and mother. Now I have to go back to my country so I can not merry to ---- and thank you very much I love you for ever. If you miss me look at moon then I am going to smile at you. Then princes kagoya boarded in the ship and then the ship going up to moon -----
The man and woman cried cried and cried because they miss kagoya so much so that every day they looked at the moon and talking about kagoya how are you? I miss you so much, I love you so much they said moon smiled .

There are so many bamboo woods and one day, he came back from sea and told his wife: I see some thing shine in there wood, bamboo wood and his wife said: oh, ya and so they looked back the bag yard and bamboo, bamboo woods in bag yard and going sure the moon time and then she said: let’s go and take a look, so both went to see, Oh, what really shining in there on bamboo dugs among bamboo woods. And then they found one bamboo are very shine, and are beautiful. So she said: look at this, what is bamboo, it’s so shine and man said: ok, letcut it. So he then cut bamboo and they found beautiful baby were gold baby and woman said: look I found a little tiny baby here in this bamboo and man said: oh, ya oh, she so beautiful. She is we don’t have awa babies. Let have adopt her and I like to live her and she said: ya, I love her very and they picked up…… baby from bamboo. Baby was so beautiful and has kiss pink and eyes shine and very very beautiful baby. Man said: oh, I found another shine stuff what is it? Oh, this is gold coin; I found and so they pick up the gold coin and went home. They were very poor and but they have very whom hard and kind gentle people and they give a lot kinds sand cook it’s to kids, in neva food how are always stopped, so that they don’t have any thing to eat, to use in the house but among just came back from sea so they have the fish. The just picked up the also gold coin and when wife said: ok let by beautiful o close baby and let you know give her enough food and fit her. Hello my name is Stefani; I teach English as a second language, in the United State we call that ESL. I’ve been teaching ESL for four years. I started it when I started collage. once upon a time there was miller. now the miller had favor with the king and the king asked "what do you have to offer?" so the miller said "i have a daughter who can spin gold from hay." so the king said "okay, well how 'bout you show this to me. so the next day the miller brought his daughter to the king and the king placed her in a room with a big pile of hay and said "spin this gold by the end of the night or you'll lose your life." so the daughter sat there weeping and crying and thinking "what am i gonna do? i cannot spin gold." so a couple of minutes later a little man walked in the door, little man said "what's wrong?" the daughter said "well the king has asked me to spin spin gold from this hay and i cannot do that." so he said "well i can do it. what will you give me if i can do it for you?" she said, "um. well i have nothing else to give but i can give you a necklace." so she took her necklace off her neck and she gave it to him. so he sat there and went vroom vroom and spin out the_ a whole wheel of gold. next morning the king entered and said "wow, you spin a whole thing of gold, that's amazing." "well" she said um "can i leave now?" he said "no. you have to spin this bigger, bigger pile of hay."
so she sat there thinking and thinking and hoping the little man would return. so in a couple of minutes the little man returned and he said "what is wrong?" "well i have to spin this bigger, bigger pile of hay and i don't know how to do it." so she asked the man the little man "could you please do it for me again?" and he said "what will you give me this time?" "well. i don't know if i've any more of that left, but i have a ring on my finger would you like that?" and so he sa_ he said "sure." so he sat down and vroom, vroom, vroom, even even faster and and by the morning time the hay was all finished and all spun of gold. the king entered the room and said "wow" and this time he got a little bit greedier and he said_ he gave her even more hay this time, bigger bigger piles of hay to spin more gold. so in a couple of minutes the little man returned again and he asked "do you have the same problem this night, my lady?" she said "yes i do. but it's even bigger and bigger amounts of hay. can you do it all?" he said "sure i could, but what do you have to offer this time?" she said uh "nothing." so the little man said, "well how about when you become queen you give me your first er son or daughter?" the daughter said "sure. okay." she couldn't think of anything else to do. so he spun and spun and spun all night until it was all finished, and the next morning the king took the daughter as his wife
so after after she bore a child the little man came into her room and said, "well can i have my child now?" and she sat there and cried and said "no. i'll give you anything, anything but my child." he said "well you have three days, three whole days to figure out my name. if you can figure it out on the third day, you can keep your child." so she found a messenger and she sent him out looking and searching and searching for the most unusual names. and when he came back, she said "is your name Caspar?" he said "no." "Hilary?" he said "no." "Skengly?" he said "no." on the second day the little man returned and then she had even more extraordinary names "Askaborn?" he said, "no," "Hilleard?" he said "no." and she mentioned like five more names. on the third day she sent the messenger out and he walked around the woods and he heard he heard a man, a little man, hopping on one leg and crying, "tomorrow i brew today i bake and then the child away i'll take, for Little Deans's my royal dame and Rumpelstiltskin is my name." and he took this back to the to the queen and said " er queen, i have found it i have found it. i saw the little man and he said Rumpelstiltskin is his name." so when the little man returned, she said "is your name er Harry?" he said "no."
