hello everybody I've a question
I've improved in listening lately and at this moment I can understand ch4's news in 90%
But I think these american movies are so hard so what is the best way to improve listening by movies?.

I think here is not the right place to ask this question but as an answer to your question:
I believe the News of channel 4 are 95% in British accent, which is very different from the American accent.
As you've improved your listening to the British accent by watching the English news, you can improve your listening to the American English by insisting on watching the American movies.

I myself have tried American movie with English subtitles. After a while you can understand at least 50% of the movies without being in need of English subtitle.

hope ur all fine ,these days i have watched couple of movies including sweeney todd ,i think the actings are great but i myself didnt enjoy the story line i think it could be better ,anyway as i told before really dun like these kinda bloody movies ,i just watched it for respecting johny depp.

I've watched it about 6 times. This and the Titanic were the only movies which made me cry.

You ladies will enjoy these sort of movies? The movies which makes the watcher cry for two weeks.

Actually I haven't watched ch4 news a lot but I think an Iranian person tells the news. Hmm?! If yep, I should say among Iranian there are a few people who can speak with great accent and maybe bcuz of that you have no problem understanding 'em and movies are hard for you. If you watch movies a lot you get familiar with native's accent and after a while you can see yr progress in listening. I remember I couldn't understand even simple words but now when I watch a movie I can understand the whole movie except some new words which I'm not familiar with. So I do recommond you to watch movies and never get disappointed when you see you can not understand it well., it definitely takes time so try itl

Yesterday I watched "High school musical 2" l
The story was about a group of students who were together in their summer holiday and the events which happened among them.l

It was a very nice movie and if you wanna be happy for two hours I recommand it to you. and let me tell you that as the name shows in this movie there are some parts which students sing and dance and I loved those parts.l
and my rate to this movie is 6.5

one of the most interesting horror movies is "30 days of night" this is too scary and contains a lot of bloody scenes. But one think that I discovered about this movie was it's purpose to show USA as the only rescuer of the whole world , the vampires were speaking in a strange language and one of the safe places was a supermarket with a flag of USA on its entrance , and it was OK killing all creatures who were dangerous
for Americans even when it's just a little girl

Meet The Spartans" is the last movie that I've seen , this is a comedy witch have some funny parts about some other famous movies like 300 , Shrek , Transformer , Borat , Happy Feet ,Spider Man , Rocky .... and it poked fun at some celebrities like Angelina July , Brad Pit , Britney Spears ....
Because this is about Persians and Spartans , it has mocked with Persians but most of the funny scenes are about Spartans , they kiss same genders as greeting and give the opposite --- a high five!! Some times it seems that the movie is getting gaudy but there were some funny moments:
Spartans commander has beard and mustache and muscular body since he was just an infant!!
It was very funny training his son and teaching him how to fight
His wife wasn't reliable and there was signature of Borat on her body!!
Their battle with Persians was like conflict between techno dance groups!.....

My Rating to this comedy is 6

The story was about a blind girl who got her sight after a surgery but after that she faced some problems and she could see ghosts with her eyes which annoyed her and ...l

I think it was horror movie but it had nothing to scare me but it's worthy to watch
My rate to this one is 5.5 out of 10
