this reading is about an Australian girl that experinced culture shock.driving in Boston and .pressure of work ..relationships between student and teachers ....all of them were experinced that weren't forgettable .she saw people behaves in the another country is so difference than her country .when she landed in Boston blackmore could feel this difference.when she returns to Australia blackmore knows a lot of things about American culture

n then, u started with past tense n the very last sentences were shifted to present tense! hmm?!...u have to be more careful about it

She was with 50 another students that all of them enrolled in American colleges
At first Tamara was afraid of many things, like driving in Boston, because the steering wheel was in another side that she had been used to
She thought with herself it took time to get used to these new conditions
.And also there was difference between population in her town in Australia and Boston
Another problem was the way to spending time in America; they use to work on and on, inverse in Australia, people value relaxing more than working
And the culture of fitness and eating was another difference between these two countries…American people do exercises

.After eating, drinking culture is different too…there are more freedom in Australia to drink in proportion to America
And…in America the relationship between students and teachers are friendlier than Australia, in America students and faculties are such as a big happy family and in her opinion it is better in America
After these experiences, when she returns to her town she’ll have lots of memories

The story is about an Australian girl named Tamara Blackmore, who left her country to spend her junior year at Boston College (BC) by 50 other exchange students. She expresses her experience in America and several differences among their cultures that she found by living there. First of all Blackmore says about driving style in Boston, the position of the steering wheel is change, Americans people are busy and very time-oriented opposite to Australians. The girls are very skinny there, for they eat very little. The legal age of drinking in U.S.A is 21but in Australia its 18.the other matter which made her surprise is that in BC collage students and faculty have good relationship like a happy family.

At the end of her journey she is cheerful and has plenty memories about one year ago which she passed in BC collage.

This story is about Tamara Blackmore who came to Boston College and she experienced culture shock.She felt the tension in air when she stepped off the plane because of cultural differences. First of them was about driving, she believe " driving in Boston is crazy". So it took her a while to get used to it.

The others were about population congestion, Americans busy life and their punctuality, their food habits and rules of them especially about some drinks, the way of their speaking and their relation ship between a student and a teacher or...

In the end she returns hometown with some memories, especially good ones.
