Dear Petros and love-to-learn
we're a bit exaggerating but
it's better to be safe than sorry,
Its safe for us, because we know the country , we know the people, we know how to act, I have several experiences about this.
My dad works with foreigners, and he told me that there are some men who are specialized in rubbery with non-irannian residents.
once one of his colleagues was on the way from hotel to work, some one stopped him, introduced himself as a cop and wanted to see the passport and how much money he had.
then he told the man to come to one of the police stations to take back the passport and the money...and he was never found

There was 2 other cases with the same style, unfortunately these things exists,I just suggested to keep his money and passport in a very safe place, like safe box or banks
, and petros it's not selling, it's precaution.
you can find the exact situation in Paris (one of the best European cities), they always told you about rubberies, and to take a good care of the money you have, most of them warn you of the possibility of kidnapping children. So are they selling theire country and the city? these are all precautions as I told you.
