i have a Important question! is udk Unreal Engine 3 ? and udk only makes modes?
or udk is a game engine that makes any games??
can udk make any games with good AI??

UDK is a game engine that you can do anything with, not just mods.
و
Your skill and fantasy is your only limit when it comes to UDK.
The most simple games to make with UDK is indeed FPS shooters that reminds allot of unreal.
However you could make RTS games, turn based games, hell even card games if thats what your into.
However dont expect to pick up the UDK with no coding skills and set out to make anything complex. I would suggest you make a simple FPS level to get you started into the tool.

They call it Unreal Development >>Kit<< since you dont have full license to MODIFY the engine if I am not mistaken. But you can do whatever you want product wise.
