• New blue menu (very similar to NG and Fifa 09 PC version)
• Minikits are now showed entirely in the team choice menu
• No Be-A-Pro at all in this build (so there are some good news to come about it)
• Same intro cinematics with stupid flashbacks (Luke will try to change them before the release). And still no new popups (the shape has been changed, but always the same popups, nothing new such as intro popup, stats popup, commentator popup, etc)
• New big banner waving in the curve of the stadium. You can see it in the intro cinematics, then, in replays, it disappears because the crowd has to watch the match
• New tactics available
• Untucked Jerseys looks almost good, but it is Euro 08 model, not NG player model.
• New HUD and scoreboard like NG: it looks good
• Ball resized
• New pitch lighting much more realistic (even if without texture)
• New referee and linesmen with animations
• Good proportions of pitch and players
• New 3d turf (it looks very good)
• The shadow of the stadium seems more realistic now
• Good pitch lighting in night matches
• You can hear more drums now
• Always not good “hair” resolution from the distance (performance settings)
• The gameplay is very fluid now, the transition between normal run and speed run is better
• Robotic movements are less evident during gameplay
• Less collision with team-mates and more appropriate. Also collision with the opponent is better
• Tricks are more easy to do, but this does not mean that you can run from the middle to the goal making tricks
• The ball seems to run better on the pitch, but still ball has no separate physics
• Players are more physical and use their hands and arms more often
• Auto-evade function seems properly tuned, I saw it only one time in 5 matches
• There are some new cinematics
• During the cinematics there are more stats popups
• The shot system has been completely reworked: it is very difficult to shot with precision and it is very difficult to keep the ball in the goal… It seems good and the ball has a good behaviour in air
• Goal posts are all white now!
• Not so many improvements about aerial battles, only a bit more physical
• Thanks to the new tactics the teams moves better and teammates are more intelligent
• In corner-kicks you can see the taller players coming in the box (not tuned at the 70% build: still Cambiasso in the box and Cordoba in defense)
• The goalkeeper has been improved and looks more real, especially in the punches out and when they have to go out of the goal to contrast the incoming opponent
• Learning curve has been increased a bit (more difficult to learn to play well at the game)
• I could not make a decent shot in all the game

• Luke told me that there will be more nets animations and different shapes: he showed me the different shape of training mode goal
Manager Mode:
• Manager mode has the same screens as always (manager creation, team choice, sponsor choice, etc)
• Now before every match, in the menu, there is a little animated presentation with team logos and competition logo
• Stats are now divided into the different competitions (as I asked to Luke)
• There are much more realistic tables
• Now, during ingame, you can see the results of the other matches being shown in the left corner of the screen, just below the scoreboard. It is very cool and important to make your calculations for qualification rounds
• There was no ECC in the build I tried (with Milan), but Luke assured me that in the final release the ECC/EFC will be available also in the first manager mode year and not only in the following years…
• I could not see anything more about it apart from the scout report that reports what are the tactics and the best player of the opposite team
About online mode, Luke said that tactics will be customizable also for online mode!
A personal feeling: also Luke looked to me not so satisfied when he saw something he did not really like too much, so I'm very confident he will make whatever he can to bring us a good game!
