Cheat Codes
Enter the console on the server machine and enter "sv_cheats 1". Then, change maps by typing "changelevel dust" (or any other map). Finally, enter one of the following codes at the console to activate the corresponding cheat function:

Set the C4 Timer
This code must also be entered from the Host Computer. Hit the ~ (by default).
Enter:
Mp_c4timer (enter a # between –1000 and 1000) –1000 will be a very short timer, and 1000 is a long timer.

Renissaince Masterpiece
This isn't a cheat, just something that's kind of cool for the Italy map. If you're in free-look mode, go into the house with the fruit wallpaper. As soon as you're in, head straight up and you will see a room. Go towards it. In the room is an old rennisaince mural. I guess you could get here by adjusting gravity and no-clipping, but doing it while in free-look is a lot easier.

Client Trace
On the host computer, enter: sv_clienttrace 999999999. Every shot will surely hit. The default is 1.

Flashbang Cheat
Have you ever been blinded by a flashbang and ever wonder why you can throw one right at a guy and he still can see you. Well, unless he turned around quickly, he is probably using this cheat. I once again didn't believe it until I tried it. It is really simple too! All you do is this: 1. You hear the sound of a Flashbang bouncing on the ground. 2. You quickly shut your monitor off for 5 seconds. 3. You should hear the audible flashbang noise, then you simply turn your monitor back on. Your done, see you weren't blinded this time were you? We have a Winner! :-)

Invisibility Cheat
The infamous Invisibility Cheat, every has heard of it. You will need a monitor that has the Degauss option. You must turn your gamma and contrast to max. Once you have selected your team, don't choose a skin. Open the console and type: exec invis 0.97521. Then open your monitor controls and degauss your monitor continuously for one minute. Now choose a skin and immediately run at the enemy. DO not stop deagussing. You should see the monitor change colors several times and then you will be invisible. WooHoo!

Monitor Cheat
Ok, this one is easy and has quick results, although they may vary. When in a multiplayer game, drop to console and type gamma 1.2038794warp, then quickly turn off your monitor. Now while keeping the ESC key, the TAB key the Space bar and the mouse1 depressed, type gamma 9.0210maxzbuffer. Turn your monitor back on and someone should be dead. Even though it might be you. If you didn't keep all those keys depressed as you type you will get different results. This is definitely an advanced cheat and should only be done by expert hackers like yourself. Go get 'em you CounterStrike Champion of the World!

Key binding
To activate codes easier, bind them to keys. For example, type bind v "impulse 101" at the console window to bind the "$16,000" code to the "V" key.

Temporary invincibility
Type bind <key> "setinfo model ../oranget" during game play. Keep pressing the key that was bound to that command to become invincible.

Temporary SAS appearance as terrorist
Type bind <key> "setinfo model sas" (for terrorist only). Your whole body will change into UK SAS suit. Keep pressing the key that was bound to that command.

Get 90 bullets for Usp.45 Pistol
Buy a MAC-10 and all its bullets, then buy a Usp.45 Pistol.

Get 120 bullets for Glock Pistol
Buy a MP5 and all its bullets, then buy a Glock Pistol. Note: If you already have it, you do not have to buy another one.

Get 98 bullets for Scout
Buy a Scout, shoot one bullet and reload. Then, buy the bullets again.

Get 120 bullets for Steyr TMP
Buy a MP5 and all its bullets, then buy a TMP.

Get 59 bullets for Usp.45 pistol
Buy a Usp pistol, shoot one bullet and reload. Buy the bullets again.

Get 89 bullets for H&K Sniper Rifle
Buy a scout and all the bullets. Shoot once, reload, and buy the bullets again. Then, buy a H&K sniper rifle.

Sniping Ak47
Aim the crosshair in the middle of the enemy and shoot the bullets two by two. When the crosshair becomes large, run and reload. The target should be dead after you shoot the first two bullets.

Smoke Grenade as an Immobilizer
Purchase a smoke grenade. Select or hold the smoke grenade. Find another player(Preferably a team mate or if you are courageous enough you can target an opponent) Position yourself so that when he runs you are at the opposite direction running towards him. When the two of you collide, you will stop moving. At that precise moment throw the smoke grenade against him(between his face and torso)if you did it right the smoke grenade won't bounce off as usual, instead it will stick to him like glue. The target won't be able to move for some time until the smoke grenade loses its function and disappears. If you experienced being stuck by this trick try jumping continuously and shoot the smoke grenade by your gun or keep slashing it with your knife to set yourself free.

Amplified Flash Bang
Purchase a flash bang. Select or hold the flash bang then go to a corner wall. Push or walk against that corner until u can't go further then throw the Flash bang grenade. The Flash bang grenade won't bounce off, instead, the wall would magically absorb the grenade. As the Flash bang explodes, the blindling light would affect anyone within 20-30 meters as if blinded point blank from the flash bang explosion. No need to throw at doors or openings !

Respawning Cheat
Tired of waiting for other players to finish themselves off? Here's a cheat that would really piss most of your enemies and loved by your team mates.

If you are a Terrorist use this:
1. Enter console by typing '
2. At console, type this: bind h "chooseteam; menuselect 6; menuselect 1; menuselect 5;"
If you are a Counter-terrorist, change 1 with 2.
3. Then press enter.
4. Leave console.
5. Resume Game.
6. If you get fragged wait for approximately 5 seconds before you press the binded key. Or wait until your observer crosshair appears.

Wallaah!!! Your alive again! But no money at hand.

The badside is... your frags will be reset to ZERO! Who cares you should be laughing at the person who earlier fragged you! Revenge !

Player Custom Configuration
1. Go to the MSDos prompt.
2. Type Edit then enter.
3. At the Edit program, make a new file.
4. Name the file with any name you like just make sure the extension should be .cfg ( ex. MyConfig.cfg )
5. Now type any cheat you like:

Here is an example:

6. Then after you've finished typing, save the file at the C:\sierra\counterstrike\cstrike folder.(where ever it is located)
7. During play, enter console by pressing '
8. At the console type "exec MyConfig.cfg"
9. Then leave console and play.

All settings and binds will be executed in short time. No long boring typing of binds and cheats at the console.

Tip: You can also type the Quick Buy Cheat & Respawning Cheat in your Custom made Configuration.

Quick Buy
While playing counter-strike, press " ` " to enter console. For quick buy of a Mp5Navy, Primary ammo, secondary ammo, kevlar vest & helmet. Type the following:

Bind h "buy; menuselect 3; menuselect 1; buy; menuselect 6; menselect 8; menuselect 2;"

To quick buy other primary weapons just replace menuselect 3 and menuselect 1 with the following:

Ak-47 = menuselect 4; menuselect 1;
Commando = menuselect 4; menuselect 2;
SteyrAug = menuselect 4; menuselect 4;
Carbine = menuselect 4; menuselect 3;
Scout = menuselect 4; menuselect 5;
Arctic = menuselect 4; menuselect 6;

After binding the desired key, during gameplay at the beggining of the round press the binded key to instantly buy all items and make sure you cancel the buying mode after all the items are bought.

With this cheat you can position yourself ahead of the others in the game !

Tip: Just make sure you have enough money. Also works with all items in the buy code.

View Console
If you accidentally assign ` to another command and lose the console, type bin (key) toggleconsole in the console itself at the start of Counter-Strike.
