I think this statement is not exact, because between "supersonic" and "subsonic" speeds there is a third condition known as "sonic speed" which I didn't want to be included in my statement; but allegedly this term has entered into your sentences. Am I right?l

well... considering this one (sonic), this sentence can not be correct! you'd better use the second one or the sentence below :
An object moving at the speed faster than the speed of sound called supersonic. An object moving at the speed slower than the speed of sound called subsonic.
