Hi all
Please someone explain me what's the differences between connectors and conjunctive adverbs
We have a list of words that are different kinds of connectors (like reason, purpose,addition.etc.) and we have another list of words that are conjunctive adverbs and some of them are the same.

Can we say conjunctive adverb is a kind of connector? l
For example therefore is a conjunctive adverb and also a result connector? l

as u know we can make equative adverb in 2 way
1- as + adv. +as

2 - so + adv. + as

i know that the first one use in both posetive and negative sentences

but i heared that the 2nd. one use only in negative sentences

is it right ???

Hi,
well both these structures can be used in negative and positive sentences


But the meaning they convey is different. The fist one is positive, But what you get from the second one is likely negative
