Or a late bloomer could be someone that doesn't mature early - a girl that doesn't get boobs until she is in high school for instance.

"his days are counted"
They put these equivalents as multiple answers

I choose the second one but it was wrong , but individually I think it was correct

Hey..Hi..then let me make you sure About what you had choosen...It was Absolutely right..you know its better to say His Days Are Numbered...Numbered is the proper use of that Phrase.As you knew it means he has only a short time to live..Here you can have some good examples

His days are numbered he has only a short time to live, soon he will be fired from his job planing revenge

Or A Better One Which has been being used More Recently

president Bush's days are numbered " ie Tomorrow at noon he will no longer be president , Obama will be president . . Bush will be just a citizen

I think the phrase "to give up" has this meaning

actually they're different in meaning (although kinda subtle IMO) ...

To give up: stop trying to do something 'cause you're not successful in it
(another meaning for give up, again a different one:to stop doing something you've been doing for sometime .... like smoking)


To give in: to stop trying to fight or resist something
