Thanks for your prompt answers, but after receiving your responses I searched on the Net and it seems that at least in British English group agrees with "plural verb," what do you think?

in spoken lang u can use whatever u like after kinda n sorta. but being serious, yeah, that is correct(at least in spoken lang, but gramatically?!)l

سوال خوبیه .. حتما با هم تفاوت معنایی (subtle) دارن ... یعنی برمی گرده به خود فرد که ببینه براساس شرایط کدوم انتخاب مناسب تریه ..


اصل تفاوتشون هم اینه که وقتی میگیم as a result ، یعنی اینکه "یه سری نتایج بدست اومده که مثلا یکی اش اینه که ..." ؛ در حالیکه as the result ، یعنی "دقیقا (و تحقیقا) ، نتیجه حاصله اینه که..." .. کاربردش کمتره ؛ احتمالا به دو دلیل ؛ یکی اینکه هیچوقت توی مکالمات معمولی اون مقدار قطعیت توی صحبتمون نیست و ثانیا اگه as the result کم کاربرد تره و میشه جملات ساده تری رو جایگزینش کرد (the result is ...)
