Synthetic benchmarks

The dual-core 1GHz processor made the Optimus 3D a prime candidate for our battery of synthetic benchmarks. It uses a TI OMAP 4430 chipset with two Cortex-A9 cores and a PowerVR SGX540 GPU and 512MB of RAM.
BenchmarkPi showed the LG Optimus 3D is on par with the Optimus 2X (no surprise here, both use Cortex-A9 cores), but put the Samsung Galaxy S II is slightly ahead and the HTC Sensation - slightly behind.
Linpack has been updated and now features single and multithreaded modes. We ran the multithreaded mode, but unfortunately results aren’t comparable to those of the old version. So, we retested the Galaxy S II and Optimus 2X, but we didn’t have a Sensation to use in this test.
Anyway, the LG Optimus 3D surprisingly came out ahead of the 2X and closed on the Galaxy S II. That's pretty impressive, considering the S II runs at 1.2GHz, which should theoretically give it a 20% advantage.

Quadrant puts the Optimus 3D ever so slightly ahead of the Sensation, but behind the Galaxy S II. Since Quadrant does file system benchmarks, the Optimus 3D should get a boost when it moves to Gingerbread (and its faster Ext4 file system).

The browser benchmarks show that LG have done a very good job at optimizing the software. The CPU-heavy SunSpider shows that the Optimus 3D and 2X share a close second to the Galaxy S II, while the Sensation lags behind.
BrowserMark, which tests the speed of the HTML engine as well as JavaScript performance reaffirms this, putting the Optimus 3D very close to the fastest of the bunch.

من الان م10 'ماهه گالکسی اس دارم ولی وسوسه شدم LG Optimus 3D بگیرم . ولی نمیدونم ارزش داره و اصلا نسبت به گالکسی به جز سه بعدی بودن و سی پی یو دو هسته ایی مزیت دیگه ایی داره ؟

بچه ها یه سوال در مورد خاصیت سه بعدی این گوشی دارم :

من قبلا فیلم سه بعدی با عینک توی تلوزیون ال جی دیدم و خیلی لذت بخش بود / آیا قابلیت سه بعدی تو این گوشی با توجه به اینکه عینک نداره بازم مثل تی وی هستش ؟

همچنین فیلم سه بعدی اصلا میشه براش گیر آورد ؟ یعنی مثل فیلم های معمولی میشه از نت دانلود کرد ؟

من به مراتب کیفیت اینو بالاتر از تلویزیون با عینک های قیمت متوسط میدونم... اما نباید انتظار 3 بعدی بهتر از تلویزیون های گرون یا سینما ها رو داشت...
فیلم های 3 بعدی هم از نت بریزین پخش میکنه...

Well people, we don’t have to wait until tomorrow to scope out LG’s upcoming smartphones set for their official unveiling at the MWC floor tomorrow, February 26th – that’s because they’ve already gotten the preview treatment by the folks over at Telefonino. Let’s talk about the latter first, the LG Optimus 4X HD, since it’s probably the one that’s going to catch the attention of people more than anything else since it’s going to be scorching things up with its quad-core processor, 4.7” 720p HD-IPS display, and running LG’s most up-to-date Optimus UI on top of Android 4.0.3. Right away, we’re presented with some of the visual enhancements with LG’s take on Ice Cream Sandwich with things like the lockscreen and 3D effects in play when moving between homescreens. Fortunately, it seems to maintain its fluid movement thanks to its dreamy processor, but even more impressive considering it’s packing a 720p resolution display as well. Beyond seeing the latest LG experience in action, there’s not a whole lot of focus on the handset’s design in the video – though, we’ll be seeing it in the flesh very soon.

Next up on the list is the LG Optimus Vu, which is aiming to be a direct competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Note with its 4:3 aspect ratio display and note taking capabilities. Naturally, it has a distinguished boxy appearance, which isn’t something we typically see, due to its 5-inch 768 x 1024 display. Regardless of that, it still sports one streamlined construction, but it’s rather difficult to know for sure if it houses a stylus seeing a separate one was used to show off its new pen interface.

دوستان من چند تا سوال دیگه هم دارم که ممنون میشم جواب بدید :

1 - امروز تو نمایندگی ال جی عینک به چشم زدم و ده دقیقه ایی داشتم یه فیلم توی تلوزیون سه بعدی میدیدم . وقتی تو فیلم هواچیماهای جنگی به سمت دوربین میومدند واقعا انگار دارن از تلوزیون میان بیرون . آیا توی این گوشی هم به همین خوبی هست یا این قابلیت سه بعدی بیشتر جنبه تبلیغاتی داره ؟ یعنی طوری هست که اگه کسی ببینه خودش متوجه تصویر سه بعدی بشه ؟
2 - قابلیت پخش فیلم های فول اچ دی به چه صورتی هست ؟ یعنی مثل دیوایس های تگرا 2 دار تو 1080p لگ نمیزنه و روون پخش میکنه ؟
3 - مشکلی تو نصب نرم افزار نداره ؟ مثلا من که الان گالکسی اس دارم چون 2 گیگ رام داره اصلا مشکلی ندارم . تو این گوشی اوضاع چه جوریه ؟
