Hello,
I'm speechless. After months if not years of suggestions about not to
add (I think yours are addings, not invites) more than 10 members at
once, I'm seeing your group with 49270 members, and growing.
I can only suppose that in your countries local servers are managing
groups in a quite different way. It must have to do with the
globalization and Internet diffusion, maybe.
If in your countries Gmail is diffused like I think, you could try
with invitations instead of addings......they should be more easily
accepted.
Hope this helps

HARVARD UNIVERSITY GRADUATE AND PROFESSIONAL SCHOOLS
Harvard's graduate and professional schools are separate and independent of the College, and they make their own admissions policies and decisions.
Attending Harvard College does not guarantee admission to Harvard graduate schools. It is true that in recent years more Harvard College graduates have attended Harvard's graduate schools than those from any other single college, but that appears to be a result of the quality of the students and the records they have achieved.
Any student who has received a Bachelor's Degree or a first degree from any other university, whether American or foreign, cannot be admitted to Harvard College.
Students interested in continuing their studies beyond the bachelor's degree might wish to consider one of Harvard University's graduate and professional schools.

UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
REQUIRED TESTS
·
All applicants must take either the SAT I or ACT, and three SAT II Subject tests.
· Applicants may take any three SAT II subject tests. The Admissions Committee has no preference. However, please be aware of the following exceptions:
-
Applicants whose first language is not English should not take an SAT II test in their native language as one of their three subject tests.
- The ELPT is not accepted as one of the three required tests.
· Even if you are submitting the results of your school leaving exams (e.g., GCE A levels, International Baccalaureate, etc.), you must submit the results of the SAT I or ACT, and three SAT II Subject Tests.
· Students who do not have access to a testing center in their country are the ONLY exceptions to this policy. If you do not have access to a testing center, we will consider other internationally recognized credentials, such as the results of the Graduate Record Examination. If you take the GRE, please list the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences as a recipient of your score (code number = R3451).
· Please be sure to designate Harvard as a recipient of your test scores. The SAT code number is 3434; the ACT code number is 1840. You may also, if you wish, send your score report with your application.
Harvard does not have clearly defined, required minimum scores; however, the majority of students admitted to the College represent a range of scores from roughly 600 to 800 on each section of the SAT I as well as on each SAT II Subject Tests. We regard tests results as helpful indicators of academic ability and achievement when considered thoughtfully among other factors.
The Admissions Committee understands that international students may not be as familiar with the SAT and ACT formats as American citizens. Nevertheless, international students who distinguish themselves for admission often present the Committee with exceptionally strong standardized testing.
For more information on the SAT exams please visit the following web site:For more information on the ACT exam please visit the following web site:کد:برای مشاهده محتوا ، لطفا وارد شوید یا ثبت نام کنیدStudents are encouraged to visit the web sites as early as possible to get information about the testing centers in their area and the test dates.کد:برای مشاهده محتوا ، لطفا وارد شوید یا ثبت نام کنید
ENGLISH PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENT
Harvard international students must have near native speaker ability in the English language. Applicants whose English language skills are deficient will not be considered strong candidates for admission.
· The SAT II English Language Proficiency (ELPT) is not acceptable.
· The TOEFL is not required unless you are applying from a country without access to SAT or ACT testing. (See above section on REQUIRED TESTING).
APPLICATION DEADLINES
Please send in your application forms as soon as possible. Our preferred deadline is December 1, but the final deadline to submit all application materials is January 1 (postmark), this includes the Teachers Evaluations and your Secondary School Report.
Please see the following web site for general time table information:کد:برای مشاهده محتوا ، لطفا وارد شوید یا ثبت نام کنید
APPLICATION FEE / FEE WAIVER
We ask that international applicants send us the $65 application fee in the form of a foreign draft, a check in U.S. dollars that is drawn through a U.S. bank, which is generally available in most foreign banks. If you are applying online and have trouble paying with a credit card issued outside of the United States, please check with your card issuer to be sure that the card is enabled to work on the Internet. You may also wire the fee to us using the following information:
Bank name: Fleet Bank
Bank Address: 100 Federal St., Boston MA 02109
ABA number: 011000 390
Account name: President & Fellows of Harvard College
Account number: 531-37234
Message: Applicant’s full name
Attention: Cheryl Froderman, 5-8821
To request an application fee waiver
, please have your guidance counselor/college counselor (or other designated school official) attach a brief letter to the front of the application. The statement should explain why you are requesting a fee waiver (i.e., family financial situation, unfavorable rate of exchange). If you have already sent your application materials, please send the fee waiver request separately to the Admissions Office. Be sure your complete name, address, and date of birth are written clearly in the letter. SUBMITTING INFORMATION WRITTEN IN LANGUAGES OTHER THAN ENGLISH
We appreciate the effort that many applicants make in providing the Admissions Committee with a translation of the recommendations submitted on their behalf. We would ask, however, that any translations include the name of the translator and that any original (untranslated) reports be submitted as well. We prefer translations be done by someone other than the applicant.
TEACHER EVALUATION AND THE SCHOOL REPORT FORM
We require two teacher recommendations. You may ask any teacher who has taught you recently to write on your behalf, but you should choose one who knows you well.
Please ask your guidance or college counselor to fill out the School Report. If you do not have a guidance or college counselor, please ask a designated school official to complete the form.
*If you have been at your current school for less than two years, please ask your previous school to send a transcript/school report in addition to your current school.
MID-YEAR SCHOOL REPORT FORM
The Mid-Year School Report form is due February 1. We use this form so that the Admissions Committee will have the most up-to-date information on your academic record.
If you have already submitted a complete academic record (courses taken, final grades, results of school leaving exams, etc.) when you sent in your application, then you do not need to submit this form. This will generally apply to students who graduated in or before January.
FINANCIAL AID
Harvard's financial aid policy is "need-blind" and "need-based." This means that we make our admissions decisions without regard to whether or not an applicant is a candidate for financial aid, and we meet the full, demonstrated financial need of every admitted student.
There are no athletic, academic, or merit scholarships at Harvard College. All financial assistance is based on demonstrated financial need, regardless of citizenship. Our policies for funding international students are exactly the same as those for funding U.S. citizens.
Calculations for financial aid awards are made after the student has been admitted, and an admitted student may review his or her award before accepting the offer of admission.
·
For more information on Financial Aid at Harvard College, please visit:Students who are not United States citizens or permanent residents should complete the "Financial Statement for Students from Foreign Countries," whether or not they plan to apply for financial aid. If you submit supplementary materials or materials separate from the application forms (CDs, tapes, slides of artwork/photos, etc.) please write your full, legal name, date of birth and name of secondary school on all supplementary materials. Please underline or highlight your family name.
INTERVIEW
We encourage international applicants to have an admissions interview when and where possible. Our interviewers abroad are normally graduates of the College who offer their assistance on a volunteer basis.
Except in the case of students applying from schools in Canada and the United Kingdom, applicants may be asked to initiate contact with an interviewer. A list of interviewers abroad is enclosed with the application booklet. If you did not receive this booklet, please visit the web site listed below to request it. Please include your full name, mailing address (including postal code if applicable) and the country from which you are applying.
If an interviewer is not available sufficiently close to you to make an interview a possibility, please be aware that the absence of an interview will not adversely affect your candidacy.

ADDITIONAL FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is Harvard a college or a university?
The heart of Harvard University is Harvard College. Founded in 1636, Harvard is the oldest college in America. The current incoming class is 51% male and 49% female. There are approximately 6,400 undergraduates.
In addition to its undergraduate program, Harvard University includes ten graduate schools and the Extension School. The graduate schools, such as Law, Medicine, and Business, have their own faculties and facilities and are run almost entirely independently.
What about a school of engineering? a business program?
We are a liberal arts college, the undergraduate program of Harvard's Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Although many of our students prepare themselves to enter such professions as medicine, law, engineering, or business, the College is not vocational: there are no business, pre-law or pre-medical majors. All students fulfill the requirements of our Core Curriculum balanced with the pursuit of a particular field of concentration (or major). As for engineering studies, a student may pursue an A.B. or an S.B. program; the latter prepares the student for A.B.E.T. certification.
How does Harvard arrive at admissions decisions? Are there quotas? goals? limits?
The answer to these latter questions is an emphatic "No," there are no quotas or goals or limits of any kind. We admit the most promising people we can find. We are, however, interested in bringing together people with different experiences and talents and from different backgrounds. We think a significant part of a student's education comes from living with others, and we strive to encourage such learning.
Once students apply, they are all in the same pool of applicants from which we try to choose a well-rounded class. We choose candidates individually, responding to honors and talents and achievements. A majority vote by members of the Admissions Committee is needed for admission. This past year we received nearly 28,000 applications. We admitted approximately 1,900 students and expect approximately 1,625 to enroll.
INFORMATION ABOUT ADMISSIONS
What kind of academic preparation does Harvard encourage?
With students applying from nearly 5000 different secondary schools from around the world each year, there is no single path we can expect all students to follow. What we can say is that we expect students to engage in the most rigorous academic program available.
What kind of marks are needed?
Generally, students are at the top of their class - but we do not have rigid requirements, and high marks do not guarantee admission. In deciding whom to admit from among the large group of academically talented applicants, we look at more than just grades: energy, initiative, the support of teachers and counselors, evidence that a student will take advantage of what Harvard offers.
I will be sitting for A Levels. Do I still need to take the SAT (or ACT) and Subject Tests?
Yes. These tests help the Admissions Committee gauge whether you are well-suited to study at Harvard. We ask all applicants, regardless of secondary school curriculum, to take these examinations. We realize that students educated abroad may be unfamiliar with the format of these examinations.
If my secondary school curriculum requires more than the standard United States curriculum (12 years), may I apply after my twelfth year?
We strongly recommend that students complete whichever curriculum they have been following. Students applying to enter after only one year of A-Level or International Baccalaureate study, for example, are at a tremendous disadvantage in our pool.
How important are extracurricular activities in the admissions decisions?
Each case is different. Some students show such extraordinary academic promise that we admit them even if they have very limited outside interests. Most students who are admitted, however, have demonstrated significant achievement or commitment in one or more nonacademic activities. Some are classically "well rounded," active in many areas. Others are what could be called "well lopsided": they are focused on only one primary activity, but they are unusually good at what they do.
Does it hurt my chances if I am applying from a school where you have never taken anybody?
Not at all; we are delighted to consider people from "new" schools. In fact, we welcome the chance.
Does it hurt my chances if other strong applicants are applying from my school?
Absolutely not. We have no quotas for individual schools. If we think you ought to be admitted, we will admit you - regardless of how many others we might also admit from your school. We compare you with other candidates from around the world, not just from your school or country.
I'm worried that you will not know anything about my school: how rigorous it is, what my marks
mean...
While we can appreciate your concern, we work hard to learn about your school and educational system. Not only do we receive information directly from your school, but we also have an extremely knowledgeable admissions staff. With years of experience and extensive communication with both school personnel and local alumni, we do our best to learn about your school. And we always welcome information you think we may not have available.
Does Harvard offer Advanced Standing?
Entering students with outstanding records on internationally recognized foreign examinations (such as French or European Baccalaureate, A Levels, International Baccalaureate, Abitur, Maturite) or on Advanced Placement exams may be eligible for Advanced Standing.
Does going to Harvard as an undergraduate help or hinder my chances for admissions to Harvard's Law School, Business School or Medical School?
Neither, as far as we can tell. Those graduate schools are separate and independent of the College, and they make their own admissions decisions. It is true that in recent years more Harvard undergraduates have attended Harvard's graduate schools than those from any other single college, but that appears to be more a result of the quality of the applicants and the records they have achieved.
If I am admitted to Harvard, may I defer entrance?
We are happy to allow a one-year deferral to travel, pursue a special project or activity, work, or spend the time in another meaningful way -- provided you do not intend to enroll in a degree-granting program at another college before you enter Harvard. Deferrals for two-year obligatory military service are allowed.
What should I know about the issuance of visas?
The Certificate of Eligibility (I-20 Form) is issued to admitted students who accept our offer of admission. Students may then present this form to the nearest United States Consulate in order to receive the F-1 Student Visa. I-20 Forms are prepared in the Admissions Office during the month of May.
FINANCIAL AID
What is Harvard's philosophy of financial aid?
Harvard's financial aid policy has two parts. First it is need-blind: we make our admissions decisions without regard to whether an applicant is a candidate for financial aid. Second, it is need-based: we meet the full demonstrated financial need of every admitted student.
So being a financial aid candidate does not affect my chances for admissions, even if I am not a U.S. citizen?
That is correct. All financial assistance is based on demonstrated financial need, regardless of citizenship. We do not have limited funding for international students. We admit the best candidates in the applicant pool regardless of citizenship or financial aid need. Calculations for financial aid awards are made after the student has been admitted, and an admitted student may review his or her award before accepting the offer of admission.
Is it hard to get financial aid?
No. three-quarters of Harvard undergraduates receive some kind of financial aid. Financial aid comes in three parts: a student loan, a job, and a grant award.
How tough is it to get a job - or to hold one while also a full-time student?
If you qualify for financial aid, we guarantee you an on-campus job. Employment opportunities range from dining hall duties to work in the libraries, laboratories, and offices. Students have earned money on campus as bartenders, teaching assistants, sportswriters, computer programmers, lifeguards, and research assistants, to cite a few examples. At 8 - 12 hours per week, most students find that they can handle a job, even in addition to significant extracurricular activities.
