در مورد عنکبوت ، ظاهرا بعضی از انواع عنکبوت هستن (grden spider) که وسط تارشون یه رشته تار دیگه رو بصورت زیگزاگی رد می کنن و همچنان که دارن ادامه اش میدن ، میرن قایم میشن ... طبیعتا وقتی که حشره ای به دام بیفته ، این trap line تکون می خوره و اینا می فهمن که چیزی گیر افتاده ... (فکر کنم بطور مشابه شکارچی ها هم این کار رو می کنن)
trap line رو میشه به شکل "مجموعه دام ها" هم ترجمه کرد ... یه استراتژی هستش که پرنده هایی مثل همون hummingbird که گفتی استفاده می کنن ؛ به این ترتیب که بصورت متناوب به مجموعه ای از مکان های مشخص ، مثل یه درخت ، یه بوته یا هر مکان دیگری که احتمالا خوراکی توش پیدا میشه سر می زنن ... یعنی روی چندتا مکان مشخص (که احتمال یافته شدن خوراکی و شکار بیشتره) فیکس میشن و بصورت چرخشی بهشون سرکشی می کنن ...
hummingbird هم یعنی مرغ مگس خوار ...
