Unlike most games, this game requires an internet connection to play. If it were just a matter of bypassing the connection, it would have been done already. The problem is, Ubi & ea set it up so that the game requires information that is located on their servers in order to function. So, the difficulty is trying to 'listen' to the internet traffic between the game and the server, then decrypt it so that what ever it is that is on the server can be packed and released in the crack. This is actually a fairly bold move by Ubi&.... To the best of my knowledge, no developer has gone this far before. Mainly because it limits sales to only those with internet connections. However, though 5-10 years ago that would have been a fairly large number of people, these days most people have internet in the their house, on their phone, in their cars, etc. It's getting to the point where it really doesn't effect sales due to the large number of people who have internet. And, any sales that are lost are gained by people who would have just pirated the game getting tired of waiting on the crack and actually buying it. Now, isn't a game that I would run out and buy. If I could download it from here, I would probably play it a couple times. But, the danger we're really facing here is that Ubi makes a lot of games, and I'm sure other developers are watching too. So, expect to see this sort of server based encryption becoming very popular over the next year or two. I hate to be the one to have to say it, but the days of pirated games showing up the day of the games release are likely over. Not to say this sort of server based anti-pirate method is uncrackable, but it will take much longer to crack. Unfortunately, I think the Games section of Warez-bb will soon only list games made pre-2011. Because games post-2011 will look a lot more like the hawx 2 , Dead space 2 "when's the crack coming?" forum entries. So, get out your Visa and be prepared to have to start buying games.hahahaahahaahaa
