I see you've been talking about Lost . what I say is I Luuuuuve it !!! everything about it is just fine - Characters , story, sequences ...great ! . everything is great except the waiting . I mean waiting for the next episode

I haven't seen "Desperate Housewives" at all. but I'd like to, though I can't . Cuz I have no satellite receiver at home . How sad !

I gotta ask those of you who have Satellite Receiver, something : do you easily access to these channels which show these types of TV Episodes or do you pay to access them?

well, you can watch most of these well-known soap operas on MBC channels...n as u may know, it is free of charge; no need to pay

i closed my satellite long time ago it is absolutely better than IR TV but still not that much good
from the moment i started to make trade i dont need any satellite ,borrowing, buying or something like that...
BTW we are going to a new house tomorrow(we've build a new one) maybe in the new house i'll open it again
havn't decide it yet
and about your Q if you have a --- you could use plugins, it opens most good channels like C Cinema in this matter i think
you should ask darioush 'cuz as i said i closed my satellite long time a go

I don't have any --- but I'm thinking of buying a standalone Sat-receiver for my TV. as for me it's more exciting to watch such things in a screen, bigger than a 17" CRT spherical monitor
I'm satisfied with mid-quality channels if they show Lost and 'Top Gear' or 'Fifth Gear'.

their quality is good enough (like DVD) but if you want to watch HD Channels as far as i know you should buy a reciever which is a HD supporter and an HD tv too( i couldn't watch those channels with my ---)s

I've seen BBC & CNN some times , in some places and they're really good enough
