Barcelona

Victor Valdes - 6 - Not one of his best games. Wasn't at fault for the goal, but spilled a couple of crosses that he should have dealt with easily.

Carles Puyol - 9 - A great game, first bombing up the right flank and then later in the centre. Was solid in defence, and a constant threat up front.

Rafael Marquez - 7 - Kept Mallorca fairly quiet at the back, but got unnecessarily booked, and was always walking the tightrope of a red.

Victor Sanchez - 3 - Pretty poor game for the youngster, who was left for dead for the goal. To be fair though, he is a central midfielder after all.

Eric Abidal - 7 - Fairly solid throughout the match, and helped out in attack without being spectacular.

Yaya Toure - 8 - Solid as ever in the middle, and capped off his performance with a simply stupendous goal at the death.

Eidur Gudjohnsen - 7 - Didn't do anything spectacular, and did lose the ball on a few occasions.

Xavi - 8 - Another performance full of precise passes and through balls, and was as effective as he always is.

Aliaksandr Hleb - 7 - Showed lots of fancy footwork and some nice touches, but his final ball was woefully lacking.

Thierry Henry - 8 - Showed great composure to score the vital equalizer, and was a general nuisance for the defence.

Samuel Eto'o - 6 - Not the best game against his old club. Helped out in attack but missed his few chances.
