HOLIDAY

I like holidays and doing nothing
Holiday means: stop your job and relax, go out for travelling etc…That sounds wonderfull. I like beaches with waves, gulls, brigh sunny, fresh air and especially beautfull girls in bikinis
I remember when I was a boy, I used to sneak out of my house to swim, play football and take the sun with my friends…now, it seem to be memorable…
I have a german friend. He is here(Viet Nam) for his working. I asked him: Wht will u do on Tet holiday (in Viet Nam) or on furlough? He said: im going to visit ThaiLan, Singapore and some other contries…and u? I said: I’m going to come back my hometown to visit my familly, my friends and my teachers who are always in my mind! He was very surprised. Do u know why? For Viet Namese, familly is the most important. We try to work, earn a lot of money because of our familly. On Tet holiday or furlough, we usually come back home to visit our parents, relationships…especially on Tet holiday. That’s our traditional!
Any way, I like nice beaches and beautifull girls in bikinis

well, they are somehow the same
Holiday is more common in British English n Vacation is used in American English

but consider that 'holiday' can be used as a verb which means to go on a vacation
