Last night I told you that I had my first class at university, and now I should tell you that I went and I came back and now I'm at home, It was really good. I'm really happy that my major is english because

it's the only major that I love

Devils Advocate is the best, I do agree with you, but other movies which you have written I haven't watched but I try to find them and watch them, they should be interesting.

have you seen the movie PERFUME?
last night i saw it that was not bad the story of the movie was interesting
but i didnt understand what did they want to say with this movie and what was the purpose of that film
any way if you any of you are interested in movies i suggest you to see this movie

My post probably seems a bit off topic but I think a movie doesn't necessarily have to have a purpose. I mean IMO the greatest purpose for a movie is entertaining, and if a movie has a message beyond its true religion -which I think is Storytelling- then it becomes classic (as the greatest movies of our time have been) once my teacher said it's really easy to sell a bad movie as a complicated meaningful! movie. sometimes they don't even know what they're talking about themselves and just because people don't understand what the movie's about they think it's about such a great philosophy that is beyond them when in reality the movie has nothing to say! anyway I think it's nice just to watch a good movie and relax without having to busy your mind with a bunch of philosophical crap. the greatest movies are always easy to watch (for a movie to become great, everybody has to like it, from critics to common audience who only have time for cinema in the weekends) sorry for my rant but I really had to say it!!!! It was about a year ago that I realized I was missing out on a hundred years of great movies and started watching classics (as the result I'm missing out on the new releases)

so tell me, is this film as good as everybody says it is? I've heard a lot of compliments about this movie

I think the best choice is APOCALYPTO
the movies director is mel gibson and the writer is an iranian person
this movie has got an acadamy award
and I have seen it for 5 times becouse its great I have shown it to lots of people and all of them loved it

One of the best movies already made, even my grandma thinks ''Devil's Advocate'' is a masterpiece. This movie is based on a book, but sadly I didn't read it to know if the facts are identical or not. But whatever, even if somethings were changed, I cannot say anything bad about this film, where Keanu Reeves has one of his best roles as Kevin Lomax and Charlize Theron became famous. The story is about the young lawyer Kevin Lomax, from Florida, who never lost a single case in his entire life. One day, one day, a very famous law firm in the world, call him to work for them.
