Kelly Osbourne has confirmed she is set to walk down the aisle with model boyfriend Luke Worrell after reportedly announcing her engagement on social networking site Facebook.

Rumours suggesting the pair were planning to get wed have been rampant since Osbourne was photographed wearing a diamond ring on her wedding finger.

When asked by WENN if she had excepted her beau's proposal for her hand in marriage, Osbourne insisted she was too young to settle down.

Actress Meg Ryan will be honoured with Germany's Bambi lifetime achievement award for her longrunning Hollywood career.

Ryan has been named as the winner of the lifetime achievement for best international actress gong in this year's Bambi awards - an annual ceremony for the entertainment industry organised by Germany's Hubert Burda Media group since 1948.

Bambi organisers named the star as the deserving honoree because she "made film history" with her fake-orgasm scene in her 1989 hit movie When Harry Met Sally - branding the actress as the "queen of there romantic comedy".

A spokesperson for the awards says, "Meg Ryan is among the most attractive, talented and successful female stars that Hollywood ever produced.

Soul superstar Prince is facing legal action from a perfume company after allegedly failing to fulfil duties to promote a scent named after his 2006 album 3121.

Fragrance manufacturer Revelations is suing the Purple Rain icon for breach of contract, claiming the singer refused to commit to promotional activities to which he and his label Universal Music Publishing Group had agreed.

In a suit filed at New York's Supreme Court, Revelations reportedly signed a deal with the music label that would see them receive 50 per cent of the profits of the perfume's sales in exchange for arranging for the star to take part in promotional campaigns.

In the lawsuit, Revelations state: "Since July 2007, despite repeated attempts by Revelations there have been virtually no communications from anyone who could commit to or coordinate any promotional efforts by Prince."

However, Universal refuse to accept the claims, responding in a statement that the company's accusations are "completely without merit".

This is the second legal battle Prince has faced this month - he was ordered to pay $58,000 (GBP36,700) for using the services of a video editor after he was sued by the technician for unpaid wages. l

Former Survivor contestant Ace Gordon has been arrested in Florida after he was reportedly tossed out of a bar for hitting a woman.

Gordon, a failed contestant in the hit U.S. series Survivor: Gabon, was taken into custody at Collier County jail on Sunday and released the same day.

According to the Naples Daily News, he was charged with disorderly intoxication, obstruction of an officer and resisting arrest without violence. l

Pregnant actress Alyson Hannigan is in a pickle - she can't cope without the juicy snack.

The star's actor husband Alexis Denisof admits he has to be careful about the pickles he picks up - because his choosy wife will only eat the ones she craves.

He tells Eonline.com, "If I bring the wrong ones home, she won't touch them. It has to be the exact right ones. They're the sweet, kosher pickles. They can't be the pepper, garlic or whatever - it has to be the right one."

And Hannigan is also picky about baby names for their unborn son - she has ruled out Dennis Denisof.

Brooke Shields is baffled by claims her TV show Lipstick Jungle has been cancelled - because no-one has told her yet.

Internet reports last week (begs10Nov08) suggested the plug had been pulled on the NBC drama series, because of falling ratings.

But Shields insists she still has a job.

She tells Usmagazine.com, "It's not true. They're not breaking down the sets. We're still working. We still have more to do, so it's erroneously presented that we've been cancelled, thank God.

"Our bosses are saying, 'You're not cancelled, don't worry. We're just trying to figure out how to make this make sense'."

She adds that her bosses at NBC have been inundated with mail from fans desperate to keep the show on the air: "It's been insane. I thinking that the public outcry has been crazy, and it's kind of wonderful."

And she is hopeful the show can be saved - if viewers start watching the show when it's first aired, rather than taping it and watching it later. Shields explains, "I actually am (optimistic). I mean, we're basically No. 1 if you look at DVR. And you look at all that. So the public is watching it.

"The problem that they have is it's not the same day live. They just need to figures out how to reconcile advertisers' money because the advertisers don't want you fast forwarding commercials."

Co-star Kim Raver, meanwhile, reveals show bosses are meeting next week (begs24Nov08) to discuss its future: "I think on Monday there are emergency meetings as to what's going to go on. But I know the executives are really pushing it and believe in it."l

Angelina Jolie broke down in tears on Monday as she revealed her late mother inspired her to take on the lead role in new movie Changeling.

The actress plays Christine Collins, a woman who's left devastated by the disappearance of her young son in the Clint Eastwood-directed film.

And at a press conference in London to promote the movie, Jolie recalled the passion and dedication of her own mother Marcheline Bertrand, who died of cancer in 2007.

Fighting back the tears, Jolie said, "She was very much Christine Collins. She was really sweet and was never angry - she couldn't swear to save her life. But when it came to her kids, she was really fierce and so this is very much her, her story.

"She was the woman I related to, who had that elegance and strength through just knowing what was right."

Jolie is already being tipped for an Oscar-nomination at next year's ceremony after she wowed critics with her moving performance in the film. l

Pop trio The Cheetah Girls have been axed from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York next week following singer Adrienne Bailon's nude photos hoax scandal, according to Internet reports.

Sources tell PerezHilton.com the girls have been uninvited to the big parade, which will he headlined by Miley Cyrus.

Bailon hit the headlines last week (ends14Nov08) after claiming nude shots of her had been leaked online without her consent. The Cheetah Girls star's sacked publicist later revealed the incident was a publicity stunt.

She claimed her laptop was stolen in New York and snaps showing the star posing provocatively for the camera subsequently appeared online, but her ex-spokesman, Jonathan Jaxson, has confessed he and his former client concocted the leaked photo story

Britney Spears says she 'totally lost herself'

The Womaniser singer also addressed her well-chronicled breakdown after her two-year marriage to the former back-up dancer disintegrated.
"When it ended, I felt so alone. I had totally lost my way. I lost focus. I lost myself."
And the 26-year-old pop star admitted that some of the people she allowed into her life weren't the types she should be hanging out with. "I had let people into my life that were just bad people," she said.
"You're so busy you don't see what's going on. You don't have time to stop and think. It's important to have good people around you. My trust has been really battered. Sometimes it can get kinda lonely. I let certain people into my life that were just bad people…because I was lonely. I really paid the consequences for that. Big time."
And Britney blames the constant media presence surrounding her for changing her life - for the worse.
"I used to be a cool chick. But I feel like the paparazzi has taken that away from me - like, the way I used to live my life. I used to be a cool chick but I'm not any more," she said.
