well, that's wot I've just watched, a bit hard to go thru the story with my own words n that's wot imdb has written:

Set in Edwardian England where upper lips are always stiff and men from the Colonies are not entirely to be trusted, Fisk Senior has little time or affection for his son, but when the pair visit an eccentric Indian, they start a strange journey that eventually allows the old man to find his heart.

didn't enjoy it ... n I think 5 is enough for this movie

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009)
can't recall anyone who saw it in forum.


make note : exceptional cinema
story : a professional and famous journalist was hired by a rich man to solve an un-solved case about disappear of her brother's daughter that took place in forty years ago.
and another character of story is a lesbian girl with a mysterious background who is also a professional hacker and ......
ok let's speak about movie . when u see a thriller movie with this kind of form ,the film must have a great potential to attract u.let me say this way , this movie has everything
movie techniques ,a great form to a say,a great acting,excellent storyline and most important, great characters .
you can watch 150 minutes of movie very simply and i couldn't guess next plot.
movie is part of a trilogy and i'm going to see the second part as soon as possible .
my vote : a solid 8.5

I watched the movie some days ago..it was amazing the scenes were great..in some parts my heart was beating so fast , you run for your life, no matter what!!!
This film as everyone described is about the end of the world. the part that I'll remember the most was when they choose who will survive only geniuses, famous people and world leaders . all others should die..and it's a fact ,if god forbid something like this happens

I really recommend it 9/10

I watcehd 2012 based on your advice Azadeh  , but  expected something else! I didn' expect a comedy! surprised, yeah?  , I watched it with my daddy, and I wasn' able to watch it with english subtitle, so I enabled the persian one.  May no one have such fortune, it became a real comedy to me! it was translated by a sorta kid, knowing english as well as a kindergatener!  I was laughing all over the movie! I didn' watched the movie! I just read the subtitle! d

Apart from the subtitle, what I got from the movie was through my ears, and I don' trust them much! d
But it was great, every thing was extraordinary, fantastic scenes we see in the movie, very dramatic ones with excellent special effects as its flavour



I strongly recommend it to ones haven' watched it

Brothers, 2009

well, don't know how to tell the story!! it's kinda complicated, thru simple point of view I can refer to a man who takes care of his brother's wife n her cute daughters when he heard of his brother's death during the war in Afghanistan



but that is just the surface, the movie was beyond the words and dialogs; it represents the negative points of war on people, physically n mentally...how it can effect the relations n .... .

after all, that's a movie which makes u think n that is worthy to be criticized

Additional Notes:
there were two lovely, cute and sweet girls
in Religious point of view, AGAIN Islam was represented as a wild religion , not that directly though

it was about a man who was gonna save his wife's life

watched it last night on MBC Action channel...was energic and one of my fave actors was in it as well...as it was exciting,there were some unbelievable scenes that i coulnt convince myself in anyway

but all in all it could amuse me

It's one of the best funniest(funny?) movie that I've watched for 2-3 times.
One of my favorites actors , Jim Carrey acted on it.
He is really funny on this movie more than his others movie that I've watched.
It's about 2 man who want to go to somewhere and give something to a woman and in those way some funny events occur.
If you want have a some funny moments in your life , watch it

My rate for this movie is , er , 8.1 out of 10

and believe me it is really romantic
directed by catherine hardwicke based on the novel of the same name by stephnie meyer

the main story is about the developement of a personal relationship between a human teenager bella
swan and vampire edward cullen and the subsequent efforts of cullen and his family to keep swan safe from a separate group of hostile vampires

u know I really like this sort of movies and I really think u have to try it if u havent seen it yet
