Previously unseen Samsung Android slider to join AT&T

An official but never seen before picture of a Samsung Android QWERTY slider has leaked online. The mysterious smartphone is heading to AT&T and is supposed to pack latest generation hardware.

According to BGR, the image you are looking at is an official one for an upcoming AT&T droid. It has four controls under the screen (unusual for AT&T) plus the same hardware keys around the QWERTY keyboard.
Anyway, if the rumor is accurate, we'll see this fella on AT&T's page through the next few months.

Samsung Galaxy S II slide for ATT leaks plus a candybar Galaxy S II

It appears two new Galaxy S II phones are heading to AT&T – a QWERTY slider and an oddly-shaped candybar. Both droids will pack exactly the same specs as the original I9100 Galaxy S and run on Android Gingerbread.
It was just yesterday we saw an official picture of unfamiliar AT&T-bounded Samsung Galaxy S II slider and today we have a live photos to confirm it.

The leaked photos reveal the slider’s model name is SGH-I927 and it is running on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread. The untypical for AT&T four-key design on both the front panel and the QWERTY keyboard confirms that today’s SGH-I927 is indeed the same as the yesterday’s leaked official photo.
But that’s not all. The situation gets even more curious with another leaked picture that shows a Galaxy S II phone but without the keyboard. And it should be joining the AT&T’s gang too.

So, the AT&T’s portfolio is bound to expand really soon with at least two Galaxy S II phones – a QWERTY slider and a standard candybar – featuring the same specs as the pioneer I9100 Galaxy S II but with a more rounded design. We’ll just have to wait a bit for the official announcements.

Samsung E120S is the first droid with a WXGA screen?o

Specifications of a mysterious Samsung device were found within the dev center of the Korean app market. The Samsung SHV-E120S is a Korean droid running on Gingerbread, packing a WXGA display and a single-core processor.
According to the listing, the E120S is based on Qualcomm’s MSM8250 Snapdragon platform – a 1GHz Scorpion processor and an Adreno 200 GPU. That doesn't sound like much at all.
The most intriguing specification however is the display – WXGA means 1280 x 768 pixels. The device is an Android device that runs Gingerbread.
Despite the fact that there's already a related model with the name E110S, it’s still uncertain whether the E120S is a real product or just a development device. Even if it is real however, there's every chance that the E120S turns out to be a cancelled device, or perhaps a tablet.

همچنین این امکان وجود دارد که با عرضه ی گوشی سامسونگ گالاکسی اس 2 در فصل سوم امسال در امریکا , سامسونگ بتواند با پیشی گرفتن از اپل به بزرگترین تولید کننده ی گوشیهای هوشمند در جهان تبدیل شود.

شایعاتی در خصوص عرضه Samsung Galaxy 3D

شرکت سامسونگ که در کره جنوبی در زمینه ساخت گوشی‌های همراه اندرویدی به فعالیت می‌پردازد از تصمیم خود در خصوص ارایه گوشی‌ همراه سه بعدی از پاییز امسال خبر داده است. یک وبلاگ کره‌ای موسوم به [ETNews] به ارایه این شایعه پرداخته که سازنده گوشی‌های مشهور سری Galaxy S در حال حاضر کار خود را روی پروژه ساخت تلفن سه بعدی (۳D) موسوم به Samsung Galaxy 3D شروع کرده است. گوشی همراه مذکور قرار است براساس پلتفرم اندروید گوگل عمل نماید.

بر طبق شایعات منتشر شده، Galaxy 3D از یک نمایشگر LCD سه بعدی به اندازه ۳/۴ اینچ تشکیل خواهد شد. برای پشتیبانی از قابلیت‌هایی نظیر گرفتن عکس و فیلم سه بعدی، در قسمت عقب گوشی، از دو دوربین ۸ مگاپیکسل استفاده خواهد شد. سامسونگ در نظر دارد پردازنده دو هسته‌ای Esynos با فرکانس ۲/۱ گیگاهرتز را در گوشی‌های جدید خود به کار ببرد. در ابتدا گوشی Samsung Galaxy 3D بر پایه Android 2.3 Gingerbread خواهد بود اما سپس قابلیت ارتقا به نسخه جدید اندروید ( به احتمال زیاد Andorid 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich ) را نیز خواهد داشت. احتمال اینکه سیستم عامل Andorid 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich در دسامبر ۲۰۱۱ ( شهریور) وارد بازار شود بسیار زیاد است. علاوه بر ویژگی‌های گفته شده در گوشی همراه جدید سامسونگ ، باید منتظر پورت خروجی تلویزیون HD نیز باشیم که وجود این پورت به معنای قابلیت پخش و تماشای فیلم‌های سه بعدی در تلویزیون‌های سه بعدی خواهد بود. به طور حتم گوشی هوشمند سه بعدی سامسونگ، رقیبی برای گوشی‌های سه بعدی حال حاضر نظیر HTC Evo 3D و LG Optimus 3D به شمار خواهد رفت.

German court blocks shipments of Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Europe

The patent struggle between Apple and Samsung is really heating up - after the initial victory for Apple that prevented Samsung from launching the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Australia, now a second Apple victory will prevent Samsung from selling the Tab 10.1 in Europe (except the Netherlands).
This is a preliminary injunction, which will last until the German court reaches a decision. Galaxy Tab 10.1 units that have already been shipped to stores will sell normally but there won't be resupplies until this is finished. Samsung may also have to pay a fine of €250,000 for each violation.

Tab 10.1 will sell freely in the Netherlands for now (the reasons for why the Netherlands are excluded from the injunction are not clear). Samsung and Apple are in the process of suing each other in Dutch court too.
Samsung assured that the decision of the German court won't affect the proceedings in other courts. If courts end up ruling in Samsung's favor, Apple will have to pay damages to Samsung over lost business.
Here is an official statement issued by Samsung on the ruling of the German court:

Samsung is disappointed with the court’s decision and we intend to act immediately to defend our intellectual property rights through the ongoing legal proceedings in Germany and will continue to actively defend these rights throughout the world.
The request for injunction was filed with no notice to Samsung, and the order was issued without any hearing or presentation of evidence from Samsung.
We will take all necessary measures to ensure Samsung’s innovative mobile communications devices are available to customers in Europe and around the world.
This decision by the court in Germany in no way influences other legal proceedings filed with the courts in Europe and elsewhere.

There is an Apple vs. Samsung suit in the US too, where Samsung's whole line of mobile products is involved, not just the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
