Wow! I just saw the movie "About Elly..." and I'm just getting crazy

The greatest movie I've seen...As Amir Ghaderi (the critic) says: The Cinema of Iran is divided into two parts: Before "About Elly" and After "About Elly" ...Fantabulous...Just this





It's about three couples and a widower travelling to North of Iran, but they are not alone, one of the wives, brings the kindergarten teacher of her child to the trip in order to introduce her with Ahmad, the widower. While having a great time ang a lot of fun, one of the children get drowned in the sea, but rescued. After a while they realize that Elly, the nurse, is missed. No one knows about her


Film is all about lies, to an extent that those critics watched it believe that it should be renamed as "About a lie!" , The great atmosphere of doubt and lie makes the movie such wonderful that IMDB rates it 8.1 and counts it as one of the 250 best movies of the website. It is Iran's submission for Academy Award and I hope that it will be among the final 5


Watch it carefully, you won't get disappointed

I got the complete series a while back (courtesy of some friends!) ... with complete extra stuff ..haven't found the time to re-watch the series after all (I'm occupied with other series -- better series if I say so myself!) ... but one of the extras which is half an hour of Gag reels and bloopers is super-hilarious ... i've watched it, like 3 times!!!!


I'm watching Sopranos right now .. which is arguably one of the best series of all time..

I've got the bloopers which is really funny..but what other stuff you have got??? let me know to search for them too

I watch that in the cinema and to be honest I really didn't like it, neither my friends. The scenes were so good, their play was great..but the story itself wasn't good.
That movie received so many critics ..I read some in a newspaper that it has something to do with myth and this stuff..it's not kind of a movie that I recommend l

Hi Dear Azadeh! (Dear Boss) I respect your opinion, but I can discuss about it and convince you if you'd want
Ofcourse the scenes were good, but "scenes" is not the only thing makes the movie attractive. In my idea, About Elly pictures a group of lies (body of lies!) connected to each other and making a great trouble, the story is as simple as you see, in another word, you are joined with the story. You know why? because our life is such simple, if every second of the movie had its own events, it would never have such a natural atmosphere that you think you're in the game, it would never be like our real life. Suppose that you're travelling to North of Iran, you see that all scenes may happen to you! This is what makes the movie attractive, a great storyline putting you in a doubt and stress situation. Where did Elly go? This is the problem


To sum up, sometimes you should watch a movie 2-3 times so that you get the best from it. It is among them

lemme see... (I'm checking it right now) ... friend of freinds (talks with guest stars) in 3 parts .. behind the scenes ... friends around the world ... that's about it.


yeah - I heard about Flash Forward ... but I passed (mainly because I had so much series in line!!!) --- gotta be good.


Sopranos is like a more comedy/family oriented version of Godfather... (HBO usually has the best series both critically and with fans --- this is one of them)

i like saw I and II and V cause you know ,i like horror movies but not all of them the last interesting movie that i have seen is ANGLES AND DEMONS yeah i know its old but it's good enough to watch it again and also i have watched the SEVEN too it's a great movie too especially when they find the body that was nearly undead but looked like dead and suddenly got up from the bed and i just saw the American Pies in the list i recommend you to not watch it at all i just saw a few scenes of it and i prefer to watch it when i'm 18 or i won't watch it at all and the 2 movies that i liked the most are the pianist and the departed pianist is a story about a pianist that was living during the world war 2 and he could survive it and the departed is a mafia story that was very nice and leonardo dicaprio was acting as the main character.i really recommend you to watch it

I watched this movie , too and liked it.
Good for Asghar Farhadi, actors and actresses. Everybody did their task very well to made this move.

a matter of taste. but I like Deniro better I think he has more range. I can never imagine Pacino in a comedy (has he done one?! I haven't seen all of his movies). I like Pacino too, just not as much as Deniro

if forced: De Niro... I think the difference is in their mediocre movies (which they both have a respectable amount; mind you!!!) ... De Niro handles a bad movie better...

Innocent Steps 2005

in a gloomy friday that was a gooooood choice, story of a professional Korean dancer who falls in love with a Chinese lady....

that is truely a worth watching movie, though it was the same story of love, it waaas sooooo sweet n bitter sometimes, I do recommend it............. esp dear ladies in here



so cute dance can be caught in the movie,

I rate it 7
