Yesterday I watched UP and I loved it. It's great that the main character is a grumpy old man and not your usual teenage/kid. He reminded me of Spencer Tracy very much Also the romance between Ellie and Carl had me swooning! It was just soooo sweet.

I watched "O'Castelo Animado", a Japanese animation, but it failed to amaze me. Since I had watched similar animations like "Spirited Away", and that caused the story and all seemed predictable and boring to me. l

these (and a few more) are known as "Studio Ghibli" works ... they have their own followers (mostly Anime fans- like myself) ... as you said they're similar in style and concept ... but then again, that's kinda the main point in Anime

I liked the movie, although I expected a better one for its being so successful and famous all around the world

I've watched both of them... I was so surprised when I heard of SlumDog Millinaor winning Oscar... there was a rumor around, though... that was all related to political issues...anyway, in my idea Benjamin Button was more stunning

I also watched Up, and I have to say it pretty SUCKED. It was disappointingly sad, more I watched more I hated until I stopped watching it. Anyhow, let's get over it
