    no. this is the reason:

Godfather was No.1 on that list for about a decade ... when Dark Knight premiered in 2008 , its fans tried to make it No.1 (at least temporarily) ... and they did it by :

    1. giving 0's to godfather
    2. giving 10 to Dark Knight
    3. (and later) giving high votes to shawshank (which was No.2)

it was a dirty war and the outcome wasn't in favor of any of those , obviously shawshank gained a lot in between and gained the 1st spot...

... this phenomenon caused many talks about the nature of Web and the misuse of power by the users

You're right. Thanks for the information. There were pictures of the list, showing the huge changes in number of votes. Anyway, In my opinion the dark knight couldn't even be compared to Shawshank Redemption Or Godfather. When I saw The Dark Knight to be No.1 in IMDb months ago, I really expected a movie as great as Shawshank Redemption. One of my friends gave me a DVD, Batman: The Dark Knight. I first thought this is the movie everyone talks about on the Internet. While watching it, I found it an Action movie so I forwarded it and didn't watch it completely. You know why I did that? Because I thought It's" Batman: The Dark Night " but the movie they talk about is " The Dark Knight". What I'm trying to tell you is: If I had seen that movie without any announces, I would have believed it to be JUST a good Action movie, not a great one. It's what I still believe. When batman's particular car changed into a motorcycle, It sounded funny to me. I'm not a professional movie watcher, but I've always wondered why it became so popular?l

پيش فرض Night At the Museum

Few years ago I watched "Night at the museum" by IRIB, that time I didn't know Ben Stiller. So this time, when I found the second part , there was no need to hesitation to buy it. The movie was somehow good , nice visual effects, reasonable story, some funny moments, but the item that I didn't like, was Stiller's acting. While I consider Ben Stiller as one of the best comedians, I really expect better plays. I think at some senses he acted so unnatural, especially during some surprising or emotional moments. Let's talk about the movie itself. It's about the same museum guard whom we know at the first part, but this time he's given up his job and engaged in another business .he is more successful but not satisfied whit his new job. When he finds out the museum manager wanna remove the statues, he decides to follow them and get them back to their house. At Washington he discovers that a pharaoh wants to back to real life and establish his own kingdom in entire world… although I'm a fan of Ben Stiller , I couldn't rate this movie more than 7.

Ben Stiller is one of the funniest guy in today Hollywood (along with Adam Sandler - actually there's an everlasting argument between the fans about these two) ... I've seen all of his movies from 1999 till now (except The Heartbreak Kid)

"The heartbreak kid" is a nice movie but his best movie is "There is something about Mari"
Adam Sandler is another great comedian and I like him too

What i like the most about his movies is that in the end U'll learn something about life , socializing or some behavior hints
he is pretty cool in this

Borat was definitely one of the funniest ... he's continued the pattern with Bruno , which I doubt it to repeat the same success as Borat ...

I didn't like Borat so much , because it was too harsh like the fight scene between Borat and the producer!! , besides , it didn't have any strong story line
about the new movie , I heard that this time he is a gay!

    You Heard right
though it was somehow rude because of scene and the way it made fun of people of kazakistan , it was really cool for my depressness
after i watched movies like : W Delta Z - texas chainsaw massacre -etc i was kind of crazy
after watching borat .. i was born again
if there be only one reason for me to hate it ,is because of its offense to kazakistan people
