not to mention his horrible capabilities/gifts : if you lie to him, he'll know .. and he can kill just through talking with someone; killed Miggs, and disfigured Verger (in the sequel)

that was what made him scary
anyway i loved him , not that i like confronting him but i like to be like him
to read others mind ... to be able to kill a person by talking to him
isn't it a great power?
and i'm kind of a psycho-freak too

yeah man, the way that doctor lector alcted was really getting in your head and make u mental...u also have to read the bood: the silence of the lambs. in that u can really feel who is lector, it seems like he hase directly scaped from the hell

seems we have similar personalities
i wonder why his voice tone never changed ... as if he wasn't worry about anything
that's cool

very nice movie ... a good musical movie is always refreshing ... Disney still has its touch ...


* the lead actress (Amy Adams) is cute and pretty (at the same time) ... check him out in Junebug ; powerful performance

The story of two ladies Christina n Vicky who were invited to spend their summer in Barcelona, there they see a guy names Juan Antonio Gonzalo, a very charming guy n both girls felt in love with him although one of them had fiance n ....
it is a worth watching movie

The Shawshank Redemption is "significant" because it found an audience on home video after it flopped in theatres?

Is this the answer? On IMDb, the votes to Shawshank Redemption are 100,000 more than God Father which is on the second place. For this reason it may not be fair to compare Shawshank Redemption to the other top movies, there should be an equal situation. But If we do not consider the 100,000 votes, the result may be close to what we see now. However, we can't exactly say what votes were given to the movie. And also there maybe more than 100,000 votes which we need to ignore to have a fair result. Anyway, what I said can't be dependable, but as personally I love this movie so much, I thought I had to support it l

I really expected to watch a great movie..but It was terrible ..I'm still thinking what she did in the film to win the Oscar????..I hated the movie..It has nothing to show but whim and temptation..I rate it 3 out of 10 l

no. this is the reason:

Godfather was No.1 on that list for about a decade ... when Dark Knight premiered in 2008 , its fans tried to make it No.1 (at least temporarily) ... and they did it by :

1. giving 0's to godfather
2. giving 10 to Dark Knight
3. (and later) giving high votes to shawshank (which was No.2)

it was a dirty war and the outcome wasn't in favor of any of those , obviously shawshank gained a lot in between and gained the 1st spot...

... this phenomenon caused many talks about the nature of Web and the misuse of power by the users
