This is the story of a guy, Joel, who discovers that his long-time girlfriend, Clementine, has undergone a psychiatrist's experimental procedure in which all of her memory of Joel is removed, after the couple has tried for years to get their relationship working fluidly. Frustrated by the idea of still being in love with a woman who doesn't remember their time together, Joel agrees to undergo the procedure as well, to erase his memories of Clementine. The film, which takes place mostly within Joel's mind, follows his memories of Clementine backwards in time as each recent memory is replaced, and the procedure then goes on to the previous one, which is likewise seen, and then erased. Once the process starts, however, Joel realizes he doesn't really want to forget Clementine, so he starts smuggling her away into parts of his memory where she doesn't belong which alters other things about his memories as well

this is the second movie which i watched from Michel Gondry
he has different world,i dun know how he write and direct such a great movie
when you watch the movie there will be 2 Question in your Head
first Q is This is a very simple movie but why it's so complicated????l

i love all scenes in the movie and the movie has very very nice n simple dialog
i hate jim carrey but he did a great job in this movie
Kate winslet was so good too and she nominated for oscar for her good amazing acting in this movie
and michel gondry won oscar for this
At the end i must thank Dear Amin for tell me about this movie
this is one of my favorite scene.but's it's very hard to choose one scene from huge amount of amazing scene

... i watched it some months ago but when I saw that it reminded eternal for me .. its story doesn't directly indicate to eternal .. but I felt these are a little similar to each other .. how about you? have you watched it? what did your feeling say? ... but totally Eternal is more beautiful than One hour photo

but in my opinion there's not any similarity with Eternal Sunshine.....
It's Mostly About Lonely,Revenge and Perfidy .
and it's just a good and average movie .
we don't have any imagination in " one hour photo " movie.
it has a linear story .
any comparison between that and " eternal "
i think is just wrong.
but you can have your idea .

yea eternal was complicated movie and one hour photo was completely linear and they have big differences ... but sey didn't receive to his aim with revenge and when he scared them in the hotel and when she didn't divorce her husband the family became warm and sey became their near friends.... and in eternal not only they couldn't separate Joel and Clem but also they lost their loves and we see we cannot reach to our aims with revenge,robbery and other badnesses. this is the reason that I said One hour photo reminded me Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. but as I said Eternal is an other thing becasue it had some more beautifullness and eternal's story was more beautiful ..
and totally you have your own idea too,my dear friend

he was shy,lonely man
had his own world.
he couldn't express hisself.
he was a symbol of some people has a dark and without any aspiration.
celemntine was totally different.
movie has many points.
but this kind of casting and persona are my favorite.

the first half mins of story was kinda familiar to me since I have a causin who used to have imaginary friends for a while n the story was really really nice n uniqe

The former orphan Laura raises her adopted son Simón with her husband Carlos in an old house and former orphanage where she was raised. Simón is HIV positive and tells Laura that he has five invisible friends, and she believes they are fruit of his imagination. one of the great movie from spain Cinema
i like this movie but not in my top ten list.this movie have very similarity with "The Others".but has another story.the story was very strong and tat the end you must think about it to understand what happened

my first theory is this

the orphanage probably tried to hide the deaths. They all died from poisoning and it is very likely that they didn't want it to be known. When the medium was there when she went to the room they were in she said that it was locked and later discovered that they were all very ill. I think that this shows that by locking them in the room it shows that the orphanage was trying to hide something. After all, they did hide Tomas in the basement
if you'll remember, when Laura was holding Simons body by the window, she took 2-3 pills. I took it to mean that she poisoned herself and died, going over to the other side where she joined the childrens ghosts


second theory

when she want go down stairs one of the stair beak and she fall down and die
after that find his son in the closet and see that boy up on the stairs
then she remember what happened and n think if that boy come down he will fall down too
but she realize that she died and all of them are ghosts now

A novelist - Jack Torrance take a job interview as winter caretaker of the isolated, old, huge and beautiful Overlook Hotel. One of the best Horror movie i've ever seen
nicholson acted fantastic he is masterpiece in this movie
you can't breath in many scene of the movie
i dun know what should i say about this amazing movie
