Favorite Music? Genre, songs, and singers

here we go with my favorite songs in Rock
I like Instrumental,Alternative and melodic rock ... and except one of the songs which is from Hard Rock all of them are nice and peaceful songs ... I have some songs like these but I'm gonna introduce some master piece of them .. and among all of them I like Gary Hoey's Gone Surfin the most because of its very nice and melodic sound

I nearly like all sub-genres of rock except some I will mention in the following, but classic rock is another thing. You should listen to Pink Floyd to understand what rock especially progressive rock is all about, that is the band I always turn to when I need to feel comfortably numb. If not the best band, but really up there

I don't like alternative and I think it will fade away and will not pass on to the next generations, but classic rock remains forever

BTW, some good hard rock bands that I know include (but are not limited to): Van Halen, Scorpions, Dokken

hmm .. maybe you are right because I'm not a professional music follower and I just listen to them whenever I find them on my relatives pc or internet and I dun have a very wide variety of songs so my fav songs may not be from a very wide variety of songs(Sorry I dun know the suitable english equivalent for Jameye Amari!)
but they are my fav songs and I have some other favorite songs from Iranian Traditinal,Folkorik Opera and so on which I'll introduce them in the future

yes exactly .. Prince of Persia Warrior Within .. that's my favorite PC game and I got familiar with Godsmack throughout this game .. I liked its trailer and some years after that I found the music on my cousin's PC and I learned his name and found some music by him
why? ... shouldn't I listen Hard Rock?

I liked every soundtrack of the series ... and I've got most of it ... each game has a very good theme song which I like a lot ... check out the other two theme songs:

I like most of what we call independent music or Indie ... considering Alternative Rock as an affiliate I love sub-genres like Grunge ... and Punk Rock as a distant relative I love that too

I don't think they gonna fade that fast .. at least , I hope ... because recently, most of what I find pleasing-to-listen is Alt. Rock

A badass song from Pink Floyd, it has a beautiful meaning I like it. Pink Floyd are the master of psychedelica, they are my heroin

I really love Beethoven's symphonies especially 2nd, 3rd, and 9th...so immensely complex and subtlety composed

mostly when I work I listen to classic ... I mean I always wanted to listen to music "and" work which was kinda hard to achieve with any genre I tried ... when I was a sophomore I realized I can do that with classic ... specially the works ofClassic Guitar (John Williams,etc.) which actually boost my performance!!

Yeah, it sounds cool. But I can't do both together, whenever I tried to do some tasks simultaneously, I blew one or altogether. l

from Mozart I like this one: Marriage of Figaro ... but mostly his piano works
