Designers, artists and craftspeople are the people who should use their innovation and creativity to progress in their job
Most of the time the employees who work in these fields have to work hardly and also half of them are self-employed.

I started this company just two years ago after I graduated from design school.
things have gone pertty well for me.I have two big clients and most of my works is for them.
sometimes I have to work very late at night,if I have a big job to finish quickly.
I always have plenty of work to do and i'am always bussy

Daily routine
Let me to tell you a little bit about my schedule while I studied in college
I would usually get up pretty late. Probably about 8 o'clock. The first think I would do is quickly pray then I would go to the bath room wash my face tried a finish waking up. After that I would go to the kitchen and eat breakfast. I would usually eat something small like a bagel maybe a little sandwich or toast sometimes serial. After that I would go back to the bedroom and get dressed. I usually wore jeans and T shirts and tennis shoes. After that I would go back to the bathroom and brush my teeth, comb my hair. Sometimes I would put make up but usually not. Then I would put my books in my hand bag and hand out the door and go to my class. I usually had class from about 9 until 12. Then after that I would eat lunch. Usually I would come back to my room and eat or sometimes I would go to the cafeteria. After that I usually had a lab. I studied chemistry. So, I would go to chemistry lab. For four hours every after noon. When my chemistry lab. Finished about 4:30 then I went to the gym. to exercise. I exercised for about two hours. After that I would go back to my room, take a shower, get cleaned up and head to the cafeteria to eat dinner. After dinner I would return to my room, study for couple of hours probably from 3 to whatever depending on how much work I had. The I would brush my teeth, get in to my pajamas and get ready for bed again

It is very cold here in England, and there is lots of snow on the ground. What do you think about snow? Yes, snow can be cold and wet and miserable. But it can also can change familiar things – our houses and gardens, our streets and our cities – into something strange and new and beautiful.

Good poetry is like snow – it too can change familiar things into something strange and new and beautiful. So I looked for a poem about snow to read you, and I have found one by a poet called Brian Patten.



Brian Patten

Brian Patten was born in Liverpool in 1946, which means that he is nearly as old as I am! In the 1960s, he was one of a group of young poets from Liverpool whose poems became very popular and widely read. It is easy to understand why – the poems are direct, simple and often funny. Brian Patten is today one of Britain’s leading poets, and he has written lots of poems both for adults and for children. There are links to some of his poems, and to more information, on the website. I sent him an e-mail, to say that I would like to use this poem in a podcast, and he has kindly agreed that I can. So here it is, Remembering Snow.

I did not sleep last night.
The falling snow was beautiful and white.
I dressed, sneaked down the stairs
And opened wide the door.
I had not seen such snow before.
Our grubby little street had gone.
The world was brand-new, and everywhere
There was a pureness in the air.
I felt such peace.
Watching every flake
I felt more and more awake.
I thought I had learned all there was to know
About the trillion million different kinds
Of swirling frosty flakes of snow.
That was not so.
