Hi all

Every one says watching movies are very good for learning English . But no one didn't say which movies are good and useful for learning English

I have created this topic to ask you introduce me some movies are understandable for an intermediate English learner
Also movies in which speakings are slow and easy .

well if you ask me...i would answer as a intermediate learner like you...i myself practice tv series for learning like lost series which helped me a lot...but you have to choose a movie or genre that you are interested in

i watch the movie for 15 minutes with english subtitle and after that i watch the same 15 minutes without subtitle and the rest of movie like that....I'm going on this method and it has been affective till now...hope it will be for you

اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى‏ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.

خدایا درود فرست بر محمد و آل محمد

Allah, be, for Your representative, the Hujjat (proof), son of AlHasan,


Your blessings be on him and his forefathers, in this


hour and in every hour, a guardian, a protector,

a leader, a helper, a proof, and an eye. until You make him live on the earth, in obedience (to You), and cause him to live in it for a long time. O One who directs all the affairs, O One who will raise those who are in the graves, O One who makes the rivers flow, O One who softened the iron for Dawood, Bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and do for me . . . (ask for your wishes), in this night, this night

للّهُمَّ کُنْ لِوَلِیِّکَ الْحُجَّةِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ

صَلَواتُکَ عَلَیْهِ وَعَلى آبائِهِ فی هذِهِ

لسّاعَةِ وَفی کُلِّ ساعَةٍ وَلِیّاً وَحافِظاً

وَقائِداً وَناصِراً وَدَلیلاً وَعَیْناً حَتّى تُسْکِنَهُ أَرْضَکَ طَوْعاً وَتُمَتِّعَهُ فیها طَویلاً
