Those of you clamoring for an Apple tablet may finally get what you've been waiting for. According to a MacDailyNews source who leaked wireless iTunes a week before its official announcement, we can expect a sort of "MacBook touch" in October. And the source wasn't light on the details, either:

In all honesty, we may have passed this story up, but we've heard vague reports from reliable sources that Quanta is busy building a touch product for Apple. This latest information seems seems to complement what we've heard. [MacDailyNews]

UPDATE: A post over at AppleInsider might have some more light to shed on the story. At the recent earnings talk, Apple promised a product transition by the end of September with "technologies and features that others can't match" at a profit margin that no one else can approach (read: cheaper stuff). The plot thickens!

Here are some more definitions which I'd like to add from more dictionaries:

Longman: Dictionary of English Language and culture:

معادل "گرایش" در معنای مثلا، رشته ی فیزیک گرایش جامدات، چی میشه؟

این معادل گرایش رشته اصلا به معنای tendency درست نیست
tendency : به معنای تمایل داشتن به سمت چیزی، گرایش داشتن ، دوست داشتن هست. این گرایش با اون گرایش خیلی فرق می کنه.

فکر می کنم برای گرایش درسی از major, field میشه استفاده کرد.

در مورد یک پست چند صفحه قبل و بحث روی ترجمه اش ، تبادل Pm با دوستمون داشتم ... نکات خوبی توی این Pm ها مطرح شد که گفتم که عینا اینجا پست می کنم : (بدیهیه که این ایرادات به معنی بد بودن ترجمه دوستمون نیست ... فقط یه سری نکات حاشیه ای هستند که مطرح می کنم)

دو جمله زیر برای تقدیم در اول دو کتاب می آید، ترجمه آن دو چگونه است.

1- به ........... و ............ دوستان قدیمی و مهربانم که روزهای خوب و فراموش نشدنی ای را با هم داشتیم.
2- به ............... که روحی همچون آسمان بیکران دارد و همیشه در قلب من خواهد بود.

نکته: من To را معادل (به) در ابتدای و شروع هر دو جمله قرار دادم.

To ... and ... , my old and kind friends that we had good and unforgettable days with each other

ولی آن Each other در پایان جمله اول مگر برای دو نفر تنها نیست ؟ یا برای بیش از دو نفر نیز درست است چون طبق جمله اول اشاره به من و دو نفر از دیگر دوستان می شود که بیش از دو نفر خطاب شده (یعنی هر سه نفر ما) و مگر One another نمی آید. لطفا ابهام من را بر طرف نمائید. چون در کتاب گرامر عباس فرزام صفحه 90 گفته Each other اشاره به دو نفر میکند در حالیکه One another اشاره به بیش از دو نفر میکند.!!!؟؟؟؟

با اجازه ، من می خوام سه تا مساله وارد کنم به این جمله و ترجمه اش :


1. اصولا اونا اهل تعارف نیستن ... و اگه هم بخوان این کار رو بکنن در کوتاهترین جملات بیانش می کنن ... بنابراین آوردن چند صفت پشت سر هم از ویژگی های زبان اونا نیست .. اونا میگن old یا good ... ولی به ندرت چند تا صفت رو پشت سر هم ردیف می کنن (دوست عزیز و خوب و گرامی و مهربان که در سالهای طولانی و مدید زندگی من ، پشت و پناه و یار و یاور و رفیق شفیق من بود !! ... این توی فارسی قشنگه اما توی انگلیسی یه مقدار نامانوسه)

بنابراین توصیه من اینه که برای day و friend از یه صفت استفاده کنی .. ترجیحا old و unforgettable بهتره ... Memorable هم قشنگه ها ...


2. توی فارسی جملات رو طولانی می چینیم و قشنگ هم در میاد .. مجددا در انگلیسی این اتفاق کمتر میفته .. استفاده از that برای ارتباط دو بخش جمله ، زیاد قشنگ نیست ...

توصیه من اینه که بگی :
To ... and ... , my old friends . (نقطه و بعدش : ) we had unforgettable days...
یعنی بجای that نقطه بذاری ... دو جمله پشت سر هم ، قشنگ تر از یه جمله طولانیه ...


3. اصلا مشکل each other و one another اینه که بدرد این ساختار جمله نمی خورن ... اونا مربوط به وقتی هستن که به هم کاری انجام بدیم .. نه با هم (حرف اضافه مورد علاقه ی این دوتا اصطلاح ، to هستش .. نه with !!)...


پیشنهاد من : شما می تونی از together استفاده کنی یا اصلا حتی : حذفش کنی ...


نمونه های قشنگ تر واسه بخش دوم جمله : (با together)

We spent many fun/happy times together

you made all the times we spent together so much fun

I will always have warm memories of our times together

I'll never forget our fun times together throughout the years we spent together
