I would like to say if you were abroad Tamil Nadu is southern most state in India. it is the place where I was born and raised. For people who visit Tamil Nadu, surely one of the interesting aspects are the temples which are found in every street corner. They should surely visit the MINAKSHI temple in Madraey. It is probably the biggest of all the temples. And Tamil Nadu's temples spread all over the state where they can go and visit the unique architectural aspects. The other aspect of Tamil Nadu's is at its own language.
Tamilians are very proud of their language. Their language has, it's grammatical structure was established 2000 years ago and it has been preserved without no changes for all these years. And the literature itself is very interesting. Those who are familiar of the language of course will know that. Those who can not read Tamal should surely read the English translations to know about the stories and the, how the old culture of Tamil Nadu was. The other interesting aspect of Tamil Nadu is its visin, the cooking style is unique, you should also check that out when you visit Tamil Nadu. So, Tamil Nadu is a very interesting place to visit

i'd like to say a few words about Tamil Nadu. this southern most state in India. this is the place i was born and raised. and for people who visit Tamil Nadu, surely one of the interesting aspects is_ are the temples which are found in every street corner. they should surely visit uh Minakushi Temple in Madurai, which is probably the mo- the biggest of all the temples. and uh several other temples spread all over the state where they can go and see the unique architectural aspects. the... other aspect of Tamil Nadu is that it has its own language. the Tamilians are very proud of the language. the language has_ the grammatical structure was established two thousand years ago. and it has been preserved without much changes for all these years. and the literature itself is very interesting. those who are familiar with the language of course will know that. those who cannot read Tamil should surely read the english translations to know about the stories uh and the how the old culture of Tamil Nadu was. the other interesting aspect of Tamil Nadu is its cuisine. the cooking style is very unique. should also... check that out when you visit Tamil Nadu. uh so Tamil Nadu is a very interesting place to visit.

uh today i got a letter from a friend of mine, who just went away to college for his first year. and it was funny. it was bringing back lots of memories for me. he just finished going through welcome week where he was subjected to lots of really awkward ice breakers with people he just met, and yaknow all sorts of forced bonding activities with the... the people in his dorm. and i was thinking about how when i first went away to college, i was more or less determined to alienate myself as an act of will hehe from everyone that i met. and it it turned into a pretty pretty bizarre experience for me. in my first year i was living on campus at Trenton State College. and uh i pretty much determined after about a week there that i really didn't like anyone in my entire dorm. and huh rather than yaknow behaving in a mature way about this, i decided to make that apparent to everyone and i just kept myself. i ended up becoming rather close friends with my room mate. but uh i think we made really obvious that we didn't want to interact with anyone. and it became almost this elaborate game between us and the people in our dorm who just thought we were being really mysterious. and of course they were all incredibly intrigued by the fact that we didn't want to interact with them. and... hah we were constantly in these ridiculous feuds with people on our floor over things that really didn't matter. we were just trying to assert that we were above them by yaknow not wanting anything to do with them. every single day, i remember, people would leave notes our message board asking us to go to lunch with them because the whole floor had a habit of eating together. a whole process that we found to be really appalling at the time. but every single day, we didn't show up. but for some reason they just felt the need to extend the invitation every single day.
and_ i don't know after a while i think it turned into a it turned into a very entertaining thing for us. um there was yaknow there was certain something to that interaction that was bit_ yaknow added i think a good amount of adolescent melodramatic tension to my life. and i think i really enjoyed myself. but uh but the tragic part of it was that about the three quarter of the way through to the year i just got kind of bored with it. and i realized that i had completely isolated myself from every possible person who wanted anything to do with me. and... there was a point which my roommate and i both realized this. and we just_ we couldn't believe yaknow what we have done with our yaknow our potential ah personal lives at college. and uh it was it was really really kind of sad. i mean first year at college you you don't have a car or anything and you're just stuck with the people that you live with. and you're living in this little microcosm of a world where everything is incredibly out of proportion. by that time all drama all the yaknow admittedly self created drama that had been perpetuated throughout the year was completely out of control. yaknow we had all these very bizarre convoluted situations with everyone that we had ever interacted with and no one knew what to make of us. everybody thought we were just these aliens. and it was sad. it was really a sad experience. and finally by my sophomore year we wound up moving to a different dorm. and there were a few people from our freshman year who, for whatever reason be it the challenge or haha just completely generic boredom, decided to try to forge these friendships with with us, regardless of the fact that we,we had been so difficult for the entire first year living there. and some of those people actually became my closest friends for the yaknow the remainder of my college experience.
but it's funny to this day when i talk to some of these people they're just like "what were you doing, what were you doing freshman year. yaknow why were you like that, i don't understand yaknow, what were you doing with yourself?" and it's funny. i mean i look back on it now and i'm just like "man yaknow what was that all about?" i mean, it's funny because now when i go into a new situation where i don't know anyone, i always have that same knee jerk reaction somehow where i'm just like "i don't even wanna have to try, i don't wanna have to try to be friends with these people. yaknow let them come to me, let them come to me" and yaknow it's kind of a shoot yourself in the foot kind of uh kind of idea, i guess, to live your life by. not exactly a productive philosophy but ... it's wierd i mean i just moved to a new town and uh yaknow i have all these room mates who i don' know from a hole in the wall really. we all just kind of randomly got together. and... i'm finding myself having a lot of flash backs to freshman year because i'm i'm having some of these old like inclinations rising up where i'm just like "ah i just want to be really antisocial, i don't want to deal with these people, i don't want to have to pretend to socialize." and i don't know, i'm just just kind of wondering yaknow wondering if i can possibly handle myself little bit better this time around than i did the first time around.

    Dear singleguy

I know we are lazy student but its really take some time to get used to this way,

For example I didn’t know what should I do with grammar?

I didn’t know I must explain it at this topic, until you say it when the time over…

Or about the listening I downloaded it and I write it again with delay

So I see the time is over and I didn’t send it to you

I know its my problem and I must try more but I really need some time to get used to it ..

You know I understand your effort and I really thank you, but please be patient with us one more.

Excuse me if I ventured and say this,

I just like to say we are trying more, and we understand you and we are thankful with all your effort…

I am really willing to improve my English in this way

Please guide us again and be with us,

This time we try to be better students …

    With best regards,

....like all the posts you see after Listening activity (expect JEFFs' posts)...sending post after listening activity is meaningless..!!! I'm vary sensitiv about ruls and discipline in group activities...
Jeff anf sepid12ir are the teachers
I want at least 10 permanent members who CERTIFICATE that they always will do all the avctivities...Is there really 10 members who can do this? I don't think so

and let me add...!!! If some one wants to continue instead of me, he can do that. Is any body ready to that?

    Dear singleguy

You're right, as you said I am new here and I don’t know how many members are participate here,

But I know what you say and it is very good that you be sensitive about

rules in this group, it is useful and it can help us to try more…

I don’t know how many members really promise to do the activities?!!

I am very sorry if any body doesn't want to …

I am very sorry if my note makes you to add the last sentence,

I don’t like to see you separate of here, I m not happy to read that,

I just want to have a friendly group with rules to improve our level in English.

And it's not possible if we don’t do the activities or you are not with us…

Any way what ever you decide to do I follow it

and I thanks for all your effort again…

i'd like to say a few words about Tamil Nadu. this southern most state in India. this is the place i was born and raised. and for people who visit Tamil Nadu, surely one of the interesting aspects is_ are the temples which are found in every street corner. they should surely visit uh Minakushi Temple in Madurai, which is probably the mo- the biggest of all the temples. and uh several other temples spread all over the state where they can go and see the unique architectural aspects. the... other aspect of Tamil Nadu is that it has its own language. the Tamilians are very proud of the language. the language has_ the grammatical structure was established two thousand years ago. and it has been preserved without much changes for all these years. and the literature itself is very interesting. those who are familiar with the language of course will know that. those who cannot read Tamil should surely read the english translations to know about the stories uh and the how the old culture of Tamil Nadu was. the other interesting aspect of Tamil Nadu is its cuisine. the cooking style is very unique. should also... check that out when you visit Tamil Nadu. uh so Tamil Nadu is a very interesting place to visit.

    Hard

uh today i got a letter from a friend of mine, who just went away to college for his first year. and it was funny. it was bringing back lots of memories for me. he just finished going through welcome week where he was subjected to lots of really awkward ice breakers with people he just met, and yaknow all sorts of forced bonding activities with the... the people in his dorm. and i was thinking about how when i first went away to college, i was more or less determined to alienate myself as an act of will hehe from everyone that i met. and it it turned into a pretty pretty bizarre experience for me. in my first year i was living on campus at Trenton State College. and uh i pretty much determined after about a week there that i really didn't like anyone in my entire dorm. and huh rather than yaknow behaving in a mature way about this, i decided to make that apparent to everyone and i just kept myself. i ended up becoming rather close friends with my room mate. but uh i think we made really obvious that we didn't want to interact with anyone. and it became almost this elaborate game between us and the people in our dorm who just thought we were being really mysterious. and of course they were all incredibly intrigued by the fact that we didn't want to interact with them. and... hah we were constantly in these ridiculous feuds with people on our floor over things that really didn't matter. we were just trying to assert that we were above them by yaknow not wanting anything to do with them. every single day, i remember, people would leave notes our message board asking us to go to lunch with them because the whole floor had a habit of eating together. a whole process that we found to be really appalling at the time. but every single day, we didn't show up. but for some reason they just felt the need to extend the invitation every single day.

and_ i don't know after a while i think it turned into a it turned into a very entertaining thing for us. um there was yaknow there was certain something to that interaction that was bit_ yaknow added i think a good amount of adolescent melodramatic tension to my life. and i think i really enjoyed myself. but uh but the tragic part of it was that about the three quarter of the way through to the year i just got kind of bored with it. and i realized that i had completely isolated myself from every possible person who wanted anything to do with me. and... there was a point which my roommate and i both realized this. and we just_ we couldn't believe yaknow what we have done with our yaknow our potential ah personal lives at college. and uh it was it was really really kind of sad. i mean first year at college you you don't have a car or anything and you're just stuck with the people that you live with. and you're living in this little microcosm of a world where everything is incredibly out of proportion. by that time all drama all the yaknow admittedly self created drama that had been perpetuated throughout the year was completely out of control. yaknow we had all these very bizarre convoluted situations with everyone that we had ever interacted with and no one knew what to make of us. everybody thought we were just these aliens. and it was sad. it was really a sad experience. and finally by my sophomore year we wound up moving to a different dorm. and there were a few people from our freshman year who, for whatever reason be it the challenge or haha just completely generic boredom, decided to try to forge these friendships with with us, regardless of the fact that we,we had been so difficult for the entire first year living there. and some of those people actually became my closest friends for the yaknow the remainder of my college experience.

but it's funny to this day when i talk to some of these people they're just like "what were you doing, what were you doing freshman year. yaknow why were you like that, i don't understand yaknow, what were you doing with yourself?" and it's funny. i mean i look back on it now and i'm just like "man yaknow what was that all about?" i mean, it's funny because now when i go into a new situation where i don't know anyone, i always have that same knee jerk reaction somehow where i'm just like "i don't even wanna have to try, i don't wanna have to try to be friends with these people. yaknow let them come to me, let them come to me" and yaknow it's kind of a shoot yourself in the foot kind of uh kind of idea, i guess, to live your life by. not exactly a productive philosophy but ... it's wierd i mean i just moved to a new town and uh yaknow i have all these room mates who i don' know from a hole in the wall really. we all just kind of randomly got together. and... i'm finding myself having a lot of flash backs to freshman year because i'm i'm having some of these old like inclinations rising up where i'm just like "ah i just want to be really antisocial, i don't want to deal with these people, i don't want to have to pretend to socialize." and i don't know, i'm just just kind of wondering yaknow wondering if i can possibly handle myself little bit better this time around than i did the first time around.

    A Young Whiz(1) on Computers
    by Tom Petzinger
    from the wall street journal

Sometimes, a perceived disability (2) turns out to be an asset on the job. Though he is only 18 years old and blind,Suleyman Gokiygit (pronounced gok-yi-it) is among the top computer technicians and programmers at InteliData technologies corp., a large software company with several offices across the United States.
“After a merger (3) last October, two disparate computer networks (4) were driving us crazy,” recalls Douglas Braun, an InteliData vice president.“we couldn’t even send e-mail to each other.” In three weeks, Mr. Gokiygit, a university of Toledo Sophomore who works
Part-time at InteliData’s office in the city, created the software needed to integrate the two networks.
“None of the company’s 350 other employees could have done the job in three months,” says Mr. Braun.
“Suleyman can literally ‘see’ into the heart of the computer.”
Mr. Gokiygit gift, as Mr. Braun calls it, is an unusual ability to conceptualize (5) the innards (6) of a machine.
“The computer permits me to reach out into the world and do almost anything I want to do,” says Mr. Gokiygit, who
Is a computer science engineering major with straight As.

Like most blind people who work with computers, Mr. Gokyigit uses a voice-synthesizer that reads the video display on his monitor in mechanical voice. Devices that produce Braille screen displays are also available but Mr. Gokyigit says they "waste time". Instead, he depends on memory. Turning the synthesizer to top speed, he remembers almost everything he hears, at least until a project is completed. While the synthesizer talks, Mr. Gokyigit mentally "maps" the computer screen with number coordinate (such as three across, two down) and memorizes the location of each icon on the grid so he can call up files with his mouse.
The young programmer is also at home with (8) hardware, thanks partly to a highly developed sense of touch. Mitzi Nowakowski, an office manager at InteliData, recalls how he easily disconnected and reconnected their computer systems during a move last year. " Through feel, Suleyman can locate (9) connectors, pins and wires much faster than most other people with sight," she says.

Several months ago , on a trip to San Fransisco , Mr Braun had difficulty accessing (10) the company's mainframe using his laptop. He needed specific numbers to get into four InteliData files . Instead of asking someone to manually search thick logbook (11) of computer addresses , he called Mr Gokyigit who had committed the logbook to memory and produced the proper numbers "in ten seconds" Mr Braun says.
Much of the students programmer's speed comes from his ability to block out (12) distractions while at the computer. When typing, he listens intently to the synthesizer . His long, thin fingers fly over the keyboard."Nothing seems to shake his concentration" says Mrs.Nowakowski , his immediate boss (13).
Mr Gokyigit is the only company employee on call (14) 24 hours a day."We consider him our top troubleshooter (15)" say Mr.Braun.

Hi friends, this is my summary:
This reading is about a person who is whiz in computer. Though He is very young and blind but he is one of the top and good employees at intellidata technologies corp. Mr. Braun an IntelliData vice president recalls a different ability of his in computer programs that solve them difficult problems in networks. Mr. Gokyigit says about his unusual ability in this manner that computer permit me to reach out into the world and do almost anything I want to do. He work by computer like other blind people and he use the voice-synthesizer system but devices by Braille screen a display is in her mind “waste time”. By map that consist of coordinate number and memorizes the location of each icon on the grid, he can work by computer. His ability to work by hardware is recalls by his immediate boss. At last by reading this text we can understand that Mr. Gokyigit is a top troubleshooter for IntelliData crop and a perceived disability turns out to be an asset on the job.
    Some words:
Whiz, A perceived disability, Merger, conceptualize, grid, logbook, block out, on call.
Plz give your ideal about my work.

    hi

This story is about a person who has some special abilities. His name is suleyman Gokiygit, he is blind but very clever and intelligent. He is studying in Toledo university and works part-time at InteliData company.
His famousness is because of work he does. Fore example he produced a software that connected two big computer network. Work which nobody of employees couldn t do that in three months. Another case is that once his boss wanted to get into a computer but he forgot the numbers and instead of asking someone to look for them in thick logbook, he called suleyman and he recalled the numbers in ten second.
He also has ability to understand the inner structure of a machine and turning it to operational idea.
He has a good imaginative mind and he can easily map everything he hears, although there are some devices that change voices to Braille script but he doesn t use them and believe that they waist time, then he is dependent on his memory. Therefore he use voice-synthesizer to hear things on monitor.
It seems nothing can distract his mind in compare to other people when they work at the computer .

I think we have a proverb in our culture say :
God if closes a door wisely, opens another door kindly
