London, Feb 28 (IANS) Singers Rihanna and Chris Brown have reunited almost three weeks after Brown allegedly battered the “Umbrella” singer Feb 8.
The couple is currently spending time together on Miami Beach’s Star Island, people.com reports. “They are together again and care for each other,” a source said.
“While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves,” the source added.

    Britney kicks off comeback tour

Britney Spears at Concert - Singing "Circus" at the Stage

Britney Spears has performed in New Orleans as she kicked off her first concert tour for five years.
The 27-year-old dressed as a ringmaster in the show which featured jugglers, acrobats and martial arts dancers.
She performed songs from her latest album, Circus, as well as some of her biggest hits.
The singer will perform in 31 cities across North America before heading to London in June for eight shows at the O2 arena.
Spears was met with wild applause as she first appeared descending from the ceiling on hoops suspended by wires.

    'Awesome'
But the star did not interact much with the crowd - only saying to the audience, "Thank you, New Orleans", at the end of the nearly two-hour show.
"We're so happy she's back," said 16-year-old Justin Scarbrough, from New Orleans, who wore a T-shirt with the singer's image and the words: "I support Britney Spears."
Lauren Baudoin, 21, from Louisiana, described Spears' performance as "awesome".
Since the last time Spears went on tour in 2004, she has hit headlines over her personal troubles.
She got married and divorced, had two children, and found herself taken to hospital after a high-profile meltdown.
But over the last year she has embarked on a comeback that has seen her image, as well as her career, rehabilitated.
Her album Circus, which spawned the hit single Womanizer, has sold more than 1.3 million copies since being launched in December.

I don't know how to tell it in Persian ... As you see in "Womanizer" and "You Want A Peace of Me" you can understand Why i don't like her ... She's a feminist ... She thinks and shows men are in need of her and can't control themselves when see some women ... that's one of the reason ... the Other reason is She isn't A faithful and chaste woman ... I think you know it yourself

پيش فرض Zac Efron On Quitting 'Footloose': Wanted More Of 'The Unknown'

Zac Efron arrives at the UK premiere of 17 Again at the Odeon West End on March 26, 2009 in London, England

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- With his success in three "High School Musical" movies, Zac Efron appeared to be the perfect actor for the remake of the 80's toe-tappin' film "Footloose." But the young star says he's headed into a different direction - an "unknown" direction.

"I'm sure 'Footloose' would have been a huge challenge," Zac told Entertainment Weekly Thursday in Las Vegas, where he's receiving the ShoWest Breakthrough Performer of the Year award. "But, the actors that I love and the actors that work really hard in this industry are always shaking things up, trying new genres, acquiring new skill sets."

Adding, "That's what's always going to appeal to me: the unknown."

Following the news last month that Zac pulled out of the project, a rep for Paramount told Access Hollywood that the remake will move forward without the actor.

"'Footloose' is a project we've longed to see re-booted for a new generation. While Zac is no longer attached, we remain excited and committed to the collective brain trust of Kenny Ortega, Neil Meron and Craig Zaden, who will reinvigorate the franchise," a rep for the studio said in a statement released to Access. "Their fresh take on the film will undoubtedly be filled with the same kind of breakout performances that we've come to expect from them."

One of the heartthrobs who may replace Zac is "Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford, who reportedly auditioned for the role last week, according to E! Online's Marc Malkin.

Zac will next be seen on the big screen in "17 Again," on April 17, and is in talks to star in "The Death & Life of Charlie St. Cloud," where he would reunite with "17" director Burr Steers.

پيش فرض Enrique and Anna's Love Match

Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova attend the Williams sisters' semi-final tennis match at the Sony Ericsson Open in Florida.

The couple shares a smooch in the stands.

Despite their rumored on/off romance, Enrique told reporters last week that Anna "is the ideal girl. If you ask me right now, I'd say she's the woman in my life, but I don't know if eternal love exists."

Anna is swarmed by fans after the match (which Serena Williams won).

پيش فرض Just One of the Guys

If George Clooney weren't in love with bachelordom and Julia Roberts weren't married, perhaps these
besties would be more than just friends.

Despite being married to NBA star Tony Parker, Eva Longoria's main man seems to be former "Saved by the Bell" stud Mario Lopez.

Catherine Keener and Brad Pitt met on the set of the 1991 indie film "Johnny Suede" and have been super tight ever since.

If T.R. Knight and Katherine Heigl both leave "Grey's Anatomy" this spring, they'll be able to hang out 24/7.

12 years after setting sail in "Titanic," Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio's friendship remains unsinkable.

Matt Dillon and Marisa Tomei have been BFFs ever since the actress made her big screen debut alongside the heartthrob in 1984's "The Flamingo Kid."

Jessica Simpson and her constant companion, hairstylist-to-the-stars Ken Paves, love to hit the club scene together.

Former "Weekend Update" co-anchors Tina Fey and Jimmy Fallon have continued to support one another since leaving "SNL."

When Jennifer Aniston isn't hunting for husbands, she's hanging out with the Arquette-Cox clan.

Following the success of "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" and "Fool's Gold," Kate Hudson and her handsome leading man, Matthew McConaughey, will likely star in many more romantic comedies in the coming years.

She may not be a Scientologist (yet!), but that hasn't stopped Tom Cruise from befriending Jada Pinkett Smith.

After starring together in "Identity" and "Martian Child," best buds John Cusack and Amanda Peet have re-teamed for the upcoming disaster film "2012."

پيش فرض Jackie Chan's China comments prompt backlash

HONG KONG - Action star Jackie Chan's comments wondering whether Chinese people "need to be controlled" have drawn sharp rebuke in his native Hong Kong and in Taiwan

Chan told a business forum in the southern Chinese province of Hainan that a free society may not be beneficial for China 's authoritarian mainland.

"I'm not sure if it's good to have freedom or not," Chan said Saturday. "I'm gradually beginning to feel that we Chinese need to be controlled. If we're not being controlled, we'll just do what we want."

He went on to say that freedoms in Hong Kong and Taiwan made those societies "chaotic."

Chan's comments drew applause from a predominantly Chinese audience of business leaders, but did not sit well with lawmakers in Taiwan and Hong Kong.

"He's insulted the Chinese people. Chinese people aren't pets," Hong Kong pro-democracy legislator Leung Kwok-hung told The Associated Press. "Chinese society needs a democratic system to protect human rights and rule of law."

Another lawmaker, Albert Ho, called the comments "racist," adding: "People around the world are running their own countries. Why can't Chinese do the same?"

Former British colony Hong Kong enjoys Western-style civil liberties and some democratic elections under Chinese rule. Half of its 60-member legislature is elected, with the other half picked by special interest groups. But Hong Kong's leader is chosen by a panel stacked with Beijing loyalists.

In democratically self-ruled Taiwan, which split from mainland China during a civil war in 1949, legislator Huang Wei-che said Chan himself "has enjoyed freedom and democracy and has reaped the economic benefits of capitalism. But he has yet to grasp the true meaning of freedom and democracy."

Chan's comments were reported by news outlets in Hong Kong and Taiwan, but were ignored by the mainland Chinese press.

Although Chan was a fierce critic of the brutal crackdown on pro-democracy protesters in Beijing's Tiananmen Square in June 1989, which killed at least hundreds, he has not publicly criticized China's government in recent years and is immensely popular on the mainland.

He performed during the opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing Olympics and took part in the Olympic torch relay .

Chan also is vice chairman of the China Film Association, a key industry group.
