I searched the forum and found nothing interesting about the different English accents.
I thought It is interesting to have a topic about that.
You can name different English accents you've heard and we'll discuss them.
Which accent do you prefer the most and why?
What do you do to learn your desired accent?e

Ok, I'm gonna answer the two questions up there in my first post.
I've heard four English accents so far.
)I classify them according to the difficulty of their pronounciation (From easy to difficult:
1. American accent
2. Australian accent
3. British Accent
4. Irish Accent
Each category may divid into sub-classes as well.
American accent for example:
You may have watched many English movies with different accents.
About 2 years ago, when I watched Hannah Montana TV series for the first time, I thought What the heck are they talking about.
Their Tennesse accent was so unfamiliar to me
But now, I love this accent.
The Irish accent is still hard for me to understand.
Westlife is an Irish music band. I watch their interviews every now and then. They speak incompletely and fast I mean they don't speak clearly .

it kinda reminds me of the Southern accent of our own country (Jonoobi accent) .. being originally from that part of the country I can relate to it! [ برای مشاهده لینک ، با نام کاربری خود وارد شوید یا ثبت نام کنید ] --- it's warm and friendly.
hi, I found a teacher on you/tube.. his name is Misterduncan.. and he is British originally. if you wanna learn British accent, I hardly suggest you to watch his lessons ..
By the way I've heard four English accents too ..
1x American accent
2x Australian accent

I believe that we shouldn't copy their accent .. Of course this is important to learn about pronunciation ..

I personally think that the British speak like mutes. They don't pronounce most "r"s at the end of the words or in the middle.They speak in their throat, I mean they create sounds in their throat. They don't use their tounge pretty much.
As if they are learning how to speak, you know.

as I said, on this issue I cant keep my mind off movies!

American or British accent...that's the question:31:L
I myself prefer British...but I found it so difficult so I just stuck to my American accent :31:L
British accent is so pleasant to listen to...but it's a bit hard for me to understand...L
BTW, I guess the accent in which most Iranians speak, is not actually American...most of 'em can't speak in British accent so they think that their accent is American :31: It may be Persian :27:L

about 3 weeks ago i was at my brother's store...one of my brother's friends was there too( he has lived in Dubai for about 2 years i think ) he was speaking on his cellphone very loud , because i think he wanted us to listen to him .i didn't know why .anyway he was speaking very fast ..i thought he's speaking in turkish( because he's turkish) but sometimes i could hear he said some of his sentences in English , like oh my god , oh dear , oh thanks and etc.i was curious to know what language he spoke .so i asked him ,can i ask you what language were you speaking? he told me , English , i was confused . i told him my english isn't very bad but i didn't understand any of your sentences.. he said yes i spoke in english but in Filipino accent....i don't know that he was right or not
what do you think about it ...i mean is there an accent like Filipino? it was very strange. thanks

Tagalog or Filipino accent
I did some searching and found out that Filipinos (People from Philippine) speak English with an accent close to American English.
They say that they speak English better than Koreans or Japanese.
I have seen Koreans speaking English. It's kinda cute....I kinda like their accent.:31:
I had an English teacher once who was from Philippine. I have to say her accent was great. She used to speak with a clear American accent. I miss her a lot, she's backed to Philippine now.:40:

Of course We have a lot of accents in our provinces ... Such as Shomali, Esfehani, Yazdi, Mash-hadi, Jonoobi and so on.. God bless we all

i used to live in an african country (kenya)
for 3 years
people have use English i mean british and there r some local langs like kiswahili
when a kenyan talks to u him/his accents loOks funny 2 u :D coz they mix thier accent with british :D that waz i exprienced...
i think brithish iz lil bit eazier than american in all viewz
but me i rather to talk in ma mother land lang persian.
