درسته كه NVIDIA باز هم خبر از تاخير در عرضه Geforce 9800 GX2 داده ولي از همين الان اطلاعاتي راجع به اين كارت به بيرون نشت كرده...

تعدادي عكس از برد و خنك كننده اين كارت هم در دسترس است كه Attach كردم. اين نسخه خيلي ابتدايي اين كارت است و بدون شك در آينده خيلي تغيير مي كنه. اين كارت بر خلاف Radeon HD 3870 X2 ، از دو PCB ساخته شده كه بوسيله چيپست NVIDIA NP200-SLI با همديگه SLI شده اند.
GPU اين كارت G92-450 خواهد بود ( 8800GTS 512MB كه G92-400 و 9800GTX كه G92-420 بودند. ) بايد ديد چقدر از نظر سرعت بين آنها تفاوت خواهد بود.
اين كارت از 3way SLI پشتيباني نخواهد كرد.
چيپهاي مموري اين مدل Engineering Sample ، سري Samsung BJ1A بودند كه در كارتهاي گرافيكي 8800GTX, 9600GT, Radeon HD 3850, Radeon HD 3870 X2 هم از همين سري استفاده شده بود.

Let's not look back at all the shortcomings of the 8800 Ultra and take a peak at waht the 9800 GX2 has to offer. The 65nm GPUs have 1508 million transistors in total, if we combine them. They are clocked at 600MHz with a shader clock of 1500MHz and these numbers are similar to those we already saw on 8800 GT cards. It has a total of 256 stream processors (128 per GPU). The memory is clocked slightly higher than on previously seen G92 cards. Geforce 9800 GX2 uses memory clocked at 1000MHz, slightly more than the 900MHz and 970MHz seen on the 8800 GT and GTS respectively. The memory bus is 256-bit and the card packs 2x512MB of GDDR3 memory
