يكي از مشهورترين و پرطرفدار ترين آهنگ هاي امينم كه جايزه ي Grammy رو هم برنده شده آهنگ Stan است. نسخه ي اصلي اين آهنگ با Dido خواننده ي مشهور سبك پاپ خونده شده كه واقعاً هم زيبا شده. نسخه ي ريميكس شده و البته سانسور شده ي اين آهنگ كه براي اجراي زنده در Grammy Awards آماده شده بود همراه با Elton John اجرا شده، و البته التون جان ديگه نياز به معرفي نداره و الآن سال هاست كه مي خونه.
ولي نكته اي كه بايد به اون دقت داشت اينه كه موضوع اين آهنگ كمي برضد همجنس گراهاست، چون اين آهنگ در باره ي مردي به نام استن كه با وجود داشتن نامزد عاشق امينم مي شه و هر چقدر امينم اونو راهنمايي مي كنه كه با اين كار زندگي خودش و نامزدشو خراب نكنه گوشش بدهكار نيست و نهايتاً خودش و نامزد باردارشو مي كشه.
اما مسئله اينجاس كه خود التون جان از قديم همجنس گرا بوده و عده اي از منتقدين و انجمن همجنس گرايان به شدت به اين آهنگ اعتراض مي كنن و اين توهيني نسبت به خودشون مي دونن. كه اليته امينم باها مي گه كه هيچ مسئله اي با همجنس گراها نداره و قصد توهين نه به التون جان و نه به انجمن همجنس گرا ها داشته.
