Phrases
up for grabs
informal available:
a £1 million jackpot is up for grabs
Therefore the idiom is informal. My premise is that your interpretation has been wrong. Anyway, we are all prone to mistakes and as a matter of fact I myself make a lot of mistakes. Also, I want to make a correction for my previous entry, "under the sun" can be used in both informal and formal (specially literary) contexts
Example from bible: l
The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun
پس شما علاوه بر اينکه فکر می کنيد Fml/Infml من تو پستام غلط بوده ، فرض می کنيد که ترجمه های منم غلط باشه ؟ !!!!!
اگه اين جوری باشه که بهتره من " کلاً " پست ندم ديگه !!!! چون دارم تحريف می کنم . . .
Under the sun و تو اون ديکشنری نوشته : Everything possible
يا Up for grabs و نوشته : Available
نمی دونم والله شايد اين Reference من کشک باشه . . .
با اين حساب همون طور که تو پست قبليم گفتم از اين به بعد ديگه Fml/Infml و نمی نويسم
تا مشکلی پيش نياد . . .بچه هام مجبورن خودشون Distinguish کنن . . .
دوست عزيز بازم ممنون از انتقادتون . . .:11::20:
