People say she was a wife of a merchant and Leonardo painted her picture and he didn’t give it to merchant. Later a French king bought it and after that Napoleon had it in his bedroom for a while.
Why is this portrait so famous?
There are two important part of the face of Mona Lisa in the picture that induct a special think to everyone and everyone has his/her understanding of picture. That’s the reason of mysteriousness of portrait. These two parts are the corner of eyes and the mouth.
