Hey,
A reminder to everyone that Pro Passing has two parts:
1. The power bar accuracy (what I am refering to above)
2. The contextual error
I understand that some of you think that we have not taken it far enough, and that is understandable from your POV, but I would like to point out that just because the passes don't look like complete shanks does not mean that the contextual error is not having an effect. Take this (Anelka) pass for example:

Weak foot (left), 90 degree pass that doesn't look like its been completely missed but still was not successful. The effects can be even more subtle. Take this first time (Pedro) pass, same game, 5 seconds later:

The ball is played inside to the striker but it is not played in front of him as it needed to be therefore he has to turn back and is not able to advance as quickly as he would like.
Again, I understand that there are some that want the effect to be bigger but I have to consider the expectations of everyone who buys the game. Most people are either younger, less skilled or less devoted to the game than you are so I have to be mindful to create a game that is fun for them too.
Last years passes had hardly any error on them, and you can see from the video that I created earlier in the year that we have moved awy from that quite significantly.
After my experiences this year talking with you and the guys who came over I think that we may need to move to a more segregated (or customizable) model for FIFA12...?
Thanks,
Gary.
