Apple iPhone dock - the miDock, now out

A new speaker dock, designed for the iPhone but compatible with the iPod, has been released from Polk Audio.
The Polk Audio miDock Portfolio iPod speaker dock is very light and small so can be easily carried around. You can even plug in the Shuffle via the unit's auxiliary port.
According to observers, the company boasts 'high-efficiency digital amplification technology' which, they say, improves the sound across the entire spectrum. Powered by four AA batteries, the charge allows you to use the dock for around eight hours. The auxiliary input is also useful for connecting other music sources, such as portable CD players and computers.
The unit also charges your iPod/iPhone when docked. To protect the dock, you receive a padded protective carry case. The miDock retails at $29.99 but UK customers can purchase it direct by clicking the link below.

A new application called EasyWriter has been released on the Apple iPhone. Despite the almost universal praise that has been heaped on the iPhone, the use of the virtual keyboard (one of the handset's main features) has proved divisive. Users either love it or hate it.
Sax Software has decided to attempt to solve the ‘problem' once and for all with the introduction of the EasyWriter application. It is hoped that it will provide the fully realised text input facility to finally compete with the BlackBerry handsets.
The EasyWriter application places its keyboard in landscape mode. Immediately, this gives you larger keys with greater spaces seperating them, making text entry easier. It also supports the pinch and zoom interface.

No sooner has LG announced the stylish Prada II than they unveil a rather swanky accessory. The PRADA Link (LG LBA-T950) sees the manufacturer, once again, team up with the fashion giant to produce a watch that wirelessly synchronises with the Prada II via Bluetooth. Once paired, users will be alerted to incoming calls, text messages and alarms either by sound or vibration, depending on the settings chosen. Sporting an LCD display, the PRADA Link will also display the callers name or number depending on whether they appear in the phone's address book.
The PRADA Link is made from a combination of metal and tempered glass, with a set of leather straps. As with any Bluetooth device, should the PRADA Link become separated from the phone by more than 10 meters, then the Bluetooth connection will be broken. However, the PRADA Link will alert the user should this happen. On-sale by the end of this month the PRADA Link is only compatible with the LG Prada II.

Motorola has released the H350 Bluetooth headset that allows you to make calls whilst connecting to your mobile phone wirelessly. This particular unit is available in black for just $24.99 and is also available to customers in the UK to buy. It also saves you $15 on the regular price.
The new headset incorporates technology to reduce interfering noise that may arise from excessive wind turbulence and, in addition, additional ambient noises such as chat from people nearby or traffic. The headset also includes a treble boost feature which also goes some way in improving the sound quality.
Reportedly a comfortable design to wear over long periods, which is partly down to its light weight of just 0.6oz, the H350 apparently has a wireless range of around 33 feet and comes with a total of 8 hour talk time plus around 150 hours of stand by time.
